EXP40 config file

Hi,

I have a T48G with an EXP40 module.

Everything works well, I can configure the module via web interface.

My question is, is it possible to download the .cfg file of the EXP40 module ?

If I download the cfg file from the T48G, the part for DSS KEY, in the file, stops at 29 (only the DSSKEY of the T48G).

T29G + BT40 and Sennheiser MB Pro 1

Hello!
Identical to the description on this post (http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthrea...=threaded) our customer's Yealink T29G with a BT40 and firmware Version 46.80.0.70 & Hardware Version 46.0.0.128.0.0.0 is not connecting to Sennheiser MB Pro 1.

I tried to with the original 46.80.0.60 firmware, then upgraded to .70 with the same results. It sees the headset each time, asks for a pin each time, I enter 0000, press OK (or the 4th soft button, "connect") and it simply sits at the device list screen with the headset repeating the audible "pairing..." announcement every 2-3 seconds. I've tried no password (the phone says I can't do that) and 1234, 0, maybe a couple others.

I've also successfully paired my Motorola Whisper to the Yealink T29G phone (but they can't use my headset), and I've paired the Sennheiser headset to my Moto X Gen 2 cell phone. I know that both devices function properly, but just not together.

Please advise, even if it's to use a beta firmware.

Multiple Line Registration

Phone server: Asterisk 11
Phone model: T46G
Firmware version: T46-28.80.0.70.rom

I have several phones looking to my provisioning server. They download their config files and each phone tries to register 6 lines. For whatever reason, only some of the lines get registered. For example, on one phone 5 lines will register and show green, while one of the lines shows yellow and does not register. On another phone, all 6 lines will register fine. On yet another phone, 4 of the 6 lines will register.

I have experienced this in the past (on an older firmware version). My fix was to factor reset the phone, then re-download my config file. Usually that got all lines to register properly, but not in this case.

The phones shipped with an older firmware version, but I upgraded it. I didn't try the registrations before the upgrade. Once they booted & pulled their configs on the new firmware, the registration issue revealed itself. Doing the factory reset cleared the config, while maintaining the new firmware version; however, as mentioned above, re-provisioning the phone did not fix the issue.

Why are certain lines able to register and not others? Is this a firmware version problem? If so, should I go back to a previous firmware version?

T46G , T27G handset and headset sound difference

Hi , we are using T28, T27 T42 and T46 , the sound of T27 , T42 and T46 on handset port is really bad( not enough treble) compare to T28 , we try to connect the handset to headset port and problem solved better soung really similar to T28P , WHY the sound frequency is so much different from handset to headset and why this new phone generation ( based on same hardware t27 to t46 ) sound quality is so much degraded compare to t28 generation ? we need to deploy 175 phones and currently Yealink will no longer be used , we are also testing Snom phone and even if the interface is complex their sound is really on par with cisco 79xx , T28 was the reason to use Yealink and T27 will be the reason to quit Yealink

Blocking of unwanted 'rogue' SIP incoming calls

Hi:

Checking into ask a question:

Is it possible using the GUI process on a Yealink phone to do something like:

"block SIP traffic from sources other than the registered SIP server"?

We ask because sometimes we have a registered phone receciving incoming calls from the "open Internet" (rogue calls), which are not part of the telephone system.

NOTE: The phone has an RFC1918 type IP address (192.168.1.x), and is behind a router which has the public IP.
NOTE: The phone has no port forwarding from the router for port 5060.

Calling numbers with * in it

Hello,

I use both T46G and T48G phones on an Askozia (Asterisk based) pbx.
I also use Gigaset DECT-Phones.

In Askozia call forwarding is enabled by calling 000023*116*120 (in this example forward extension 116 to extension 120)

This works flawlessly on my Gigaset phones, but unfortunately not on my Yealink phones. It starts the Call but nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Lync Server 2013 and Lync Hosting Pack v2 Compatibility

Hi there,
I'm trying to find a desk VoIP phone which is compatible with both Lync Server 2013 and also the Lync Hosting Pack v2. This is because the phones will need to connect to a hosted Lync service provided by a company called Cobweb.
Please can you let me know if any of your phones are compatible with these products.

Search in a remote directory

Hey guys,

i have a problem with the remote directory. I can't use the search in it.

My remote directory is php-file which echos the xml code for the phone.
I can see every entry and everything is perfect, but as soon as i klick on the search button, the phone says: Entrys 0/0

The structure of the xml-directory is this:

Unable to register to base

Hi, I've tried multiple times to get my newly received handsets to register to the base. Upon receipt of the handsets, I noticed that they came with European plugs (I'm based in the USA), but didn't think anything of it. After resetting my base station to factory settings, and trying multiple times to get the handset to register, I noticed that the phone's "Handset Status" area is Europe. I presume this is why it won't register? Please let me know before I return everything.

T46G phones on Ring Central

I am thinking of switching to Ring Central as my company Cloud VOIP provider. They however do not support T46G phones (which my company has 20). The phones will work on Ring Central but the soft keys on the phones (History, Transfer, Directory, etc.) they tell me will not work.

Is anyone using T46G phones with Ring Central and are you able to use your soft keys?

If not, does anyone recommend a good, reliable cloud VOIP provider (in the U.S.A.) that we can use our T46G phones? We're currently on Vonage Business and I want to switch.

Blinking Time on Yealink 26P in ACD-mode.

hello,

i'm currently experiencing something weird with the yealink 26P phone....When the phone is in ACD-mode ( call-center enabled) ...the Time keeps blinking...for instance right now the time is 1:33pm and the 1-number keeps blinking...anyone know how to stop this.?

Auto provisioning language and firmware

Hi,

I want to use auto provisioning to upload a language file and a firmware file for the 42g and 46g. I have set up a tftp server. I have the following questions:
* If I only want to change language and firmware file do I need to let all the other parameters in the cfg file empty? (for example: wallpaper_upload.url =)
* Where can I find an example cfg file and english language file (because I need to translate this to dutch)? I use firmware 29.73.0.50 (t42g) and 28.73.0.50 (t46g)

If we want to listen to a VoiceMail and then call that person back can we view the voice mails on a 48G phone – scroll to the voice mail item – and hit CALL – or do we dial directly. Thanks

Openvpn question

Hello to all. I have setup an openvpn 2.3.9 server successfully. I have read the openvpn pdf and understand how to create the tar file. Before I upload it to a test phone I would like to clear up some questions I have. My T2x phones are running the 73.0.50 firmware version. I am using easyrsa 3 to generate the key pairs.

My questions are the following.

  1. Do the phones support the aes-128-cbc cipher or do I have to use the bf-cbc one.
  2. Do the phones support Cryptographic digest mb5 or do I have to change it to sha1, sha256. (easyrsa option set_var EASYRSA_DIGEST)
  3. Do the phones support tls-auth (I didn’t see it in the pdf example?)
  4. Do the phones support comp-lzo. In the server config it is enabled but in the client it is set to no.
  5. Can the phones connect to a vpn server that has topology set to subnet?
  6. What openvpn client version do the phones have loaded?

I have a T46G and when I enable always forward, incoming calls do not forward to the phone number i have specified. Anybody have any suggestions.
