T-53/T-54 Firmware

Just an FYI, the 84 firmware ending in .30 is a stable release. Unfortunately the 85 firmware ending in .5, is no good.

If you put in a ticket and complain, they will give you 96.85.0.34 which is a solid version of 85.

I was told (not by Yealink) to NEVER use a firmware version that is less than .20 because they seem to be bug ridden and ONLY once they hit .20 or higher, is there reliability.

Lesson learned on my part.

Problems with bluetooth audio

I have a T46S FW 66.86.0.5. The bluetooth headsets I have tried have had periodic issues where sometimes I can't hear the caller and sometimes I can hear them but they can't hear me.

I tried these ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083...UTF8&psc=1 )and they worked great for a while and then stopped working. I exchanged them for a brand new pair and same issues.

I tried these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B088...UTF8&psc=1 and had the same issue.

I'm not sure what broke. I had used the first set for months w/o issue. I don't recall when (or why) I upgraded to the latest firmware so I'm not sure if that is when it started or not. Any issues with this Firmware?

Freepbx T54W with EXP50 - BLF stops working after FW 96.84.0.30

The EXP 50 no longer works properly with BLF keys after this firmware. They do not light up at all. You can log in manually to the gui, click around the dsskey section and hit okay and then they come on, but the Monitor lamps never work. They remain green all the time. What is different from this version to 96.85.0.5.rom

BLF State Indicator "off" and Asterisk 16

Hello,
I'm using some BLF keys and, in general, they do work in combination with Asterisk 16. Changing the DEVICE_STATE to NOT_INUSE | INUSE | BUSY | RINGING | RINGINUSE | ONHOLD (see Asterisk wiki) does indicate the expected state, cf. Yealink T4 Series IP Phones User Guide V85.1, p.60. DEVICE_STATE UNKNOWN does not affect the BLF which seems reasonable.
However, DEVICE_STATE INVALID | UNAVAILABLE changes the BLF to solid green (i.e. "idle line") which I consider incorrect.
So, how can I change BLF to "Off" state, like shown in the User Guide on p. 60? Or is it a bug?
In "Yealink SIP-T2 Series T4 Series ... IP Phones Administrator Guide V85.1" on p. 436 is shown a SIP NOTIFY message. Any chance someone can tell me the content that changes the BLF to "off"?

T48G initiate new call not working

Audio delay when call answered

I've got 4 x W56H handsets with a W60B at home connected to the Sipgate VoIP service.

When someone calls me and I answer, the caller hears an audible "beep" followed a split second later by two more "beeps" and then we can hear each other. This means that during the first couple of seconds the caller cannot hear me. This is also true when I don't answer and the call diverts to the Sipgate voicemail service. Again, the caller hears those beeps at the start of the playback of my message.

Not too sure what's happening here and whether this issue relates to the Yealink phones or the Sipgate service.

In terms of configuration the W60B sits behind my router which has NAT enabled, but I've forwarded the SIP and NAT ports.

It seems strange that the caller can hear these audible tones before we can hear each other.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Conference Bridge Issue with #

When trying to connect to a Conference Bridge via a T57W, after initially dialing the conference bridge number, you are asked to enter the Conference Bridge Number followed by # (pound). When you press #, it says, "Transferring".

I have gone to Features - General Information - "Key As Send" and Disabled it.

It still wants to transfer the call. How can I just sed the DTMF for "#"?

T46S/T46G show green icon (blf) although phones disconnected (Asterisk)

Hi

A little annoying problem: other phones show GREEN icon (BLF) although phones are NOT connected or NOT registered.

I prefer if the icon was RED when the phone is NOT available.

All phones have latest firmware.
All of my phones are connected to an Asterisk (latest version) server.

The Asterisk server correctly states that phones are UNAVAILABLE in both "core show hints" and "sip show subscriptions" when NOT connected or registered. The Astrisk server also shows state correctly when phones are idle/busy/call etc.

Phones show states correctly if a user is BUSY and/or RECEIVING a call by either FULL RED and FLASHING RED, this is good!

In Features->General Information I have set "BFL LED Mode" to "1".

What's annoying is phones showing "green dot user icon" EVEN if the phones are NOT present/registered/connected.

I want to see a RED icon, so people know "don't ring phone is not connected".

How can I achieve this?

No option to upload new license

Hi guys,

We have CP960 as our conference phone. Current firmware is 73.83.0.4 (Swyxware firmware). We would like to test Teams firmware and we requested license for it, but we have no option in phone web interface (Security tab) to upload new license.

Am I missing one step, or steps during this process of change?

Adding RTSP doorbell to Yealink phones

I am trying to configure Yealink phone (such as T58 with camera) to work with video doorbells such as Fanvil i10/i12/i20/i30
The issue I am encountering is that some of these doorbells provide RTSP protocol video streaming. But when I try to configure doorbell in the Yealink phones - they only accept HTTP video stream URLs. Is there a work around for this?

T54W inconsistent volume issues

Hi,

This is a new install of 14x T54w handsets on a 3cx system.

There are inconsistent issues with the volume (loudness) of calls. This is not a one-way audio problem. The call audio comes through, but it's very quiet and the handset volume has to be turned up to full to be usable. On other calls the handset volume only needs to be at 50% to be usable.

There is no stuttering, distortion or dropout that would indicate packet loss.

The issue happens intermittently in both directions, on multiple handsets, and can affect both internal and external calls. When it happens on external calls, the T54w user can hear the external caller fine, but the external caller complains that the T54w user is too quiet.

This is the first install of T5x handsets that I've done, but i've deployed hundreds of T4x for other customers and never seen this problem before!

Any suggestions?

Yealink question.
Hey everyone, newbie here. I took on the roll of managing our phone systems as our phone rep is pretty much non existent and I have a "general" IT background.
I need to setup a general phone in extension for attendance phone ins. Doesn't need to have a physical handset but just an extension that employees can leave a voicemail on that can be accessed by the people who need to retrieve the messages. We have a Yeastar S20 PBX firmware vs. 30.14.0.23 using a combination of T40G and T42S handsets. Not to sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

Data Initializing

I have a Yealink w60b and a w56h. the handset is stuck in "Data Initializing" mode. I can't get the handset to finish syncing up. Never seen them act like this before.

I have install close to 50 of these on Hosted IP service, and this is the first one that wont come up. Tried defaulting the handset and several power cycles of both the base and handset.

Help with programing the same sip account in two slots

I programed my sip account into two different slots t41s (same account). When I disabled slot one I thought slot two would take inbound calls, but it doesn't. Only slot 1 takes inbound calls, slot 2 only makes outbound, but they are the same sip account. Do I need to change the port on slot 2? how do a fix
