Firmware keeps downgrading

$

Hey guys,
Here is the story:
I am trying to get some yealink t46 handsets working. However as soon as I plug them into a network with internet connection they keep downgrading the firmware. New out of the box they come the 66.84.XX.XX but as soon as i connect it to the network it comes up and says firmware upgrading and then once that finished it has the firmware 66.82.0.20 on it. Which is not compatible with the system I am trying to set it up with (3cx)

What I've tried
Ive tried factory resetting and re installing new firmware and nothing. It does the same thing I stays on the newer firmware until its connected to network.

security.user_password dosn't work since 85.0.5 ROM

Ich habe I have updated the T46S to the latest version with the ROM T46S(T48S,T42S,T41S)-66.85.0.5.rom
After that the LDAP search filter finally worked, if it is a bit longer.
But now I have another problem, that with the provisioning parameter (security.user_password) the admin password for the phone can't be set anymore.
This leads after the reboot to an error message in the phone that the default password is still used and you have to set the password manually. This is of course not practicable with many phones.

So how can you set the admin password after the upgrade with the provisioning?

Hello, my first time here...

I have several T48S and a T46S connected to a ZyXEL "digitalisierungsbox basic" from Deutsche Telekom here. I can't get the BLT softkeys to work. I guess the setting is right, but they somehow do not communicate with each other.

Any ideas? Thanks, for any help.

... and I can't get the attachments to appear here... :-(

T26P Can not upgrade firmware

Currently there is v6.70.118.13 running.

I tried to upgrade to 6.73.0.50 and 6.73.193.50 and none of it worked.
I do not get any errors, and the phone tells it's upgrading but after the upgrade procedure ends. Nothing gets upgraded.

Question 1: How can I get it done?

I have one T26-P running 6.73.193.50 but is does not show Dutch as a selectable language.

Question 2: Do you have an up to date firmware that contains Dutch?

confused with registration

I had problems this morning registering a trunk to, lets call it Sip3.VSP.com.au on one of our phones to, lets say EXT 1234 yet I successfully registered to EXT 1234 using Sip4.VSP.com.au
I tried another phone and I successfully and quickly registered to EXT 1234 using Sip3.VSP.com.au
The phones were Yealink T48G (wouldnt register via sip3) and Yealink T46G (instantly registered via Sip3)
Any thoughts on why this would happen?
Just curious

Yealink question.
Hey everyone, newbie here. I took on the roll of managing our phone systems as our phone rep is pretty much non existent and I have a "general" IT background.
I need to setup a general phone in extension for attendance phone ins. Doesn't need to have a physical handset but just an extension that employees can leave a voicemail on that can be accessed by the people who need to retrieve the messages. We have a Yeastar S20 PBX firmware vs. 30.14.0.23 using a combination of T40G and T42S handsets. Not to sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

Provisioning only works on startup

After updating the firmware on a T21P, auto provisioning now fails when trying to run it manually. The only time it works is when the phone powers up, successfully downloading all files and having no problems at all.

When I try and run a provisioning manually, either through the web interface or on the phone itself, nothing happens. The TFTP server shows no activity and the log files from the phone show:

Code:
<131>Sep 25 17:01:05 ATP [1312.1321]: DURL<3+error > [DCMN]download common error, errcode:68.
<131>Sep 25 17:01:05 ATP [1312.1321]: ATP <3+error > tftp to file failed, code = -168, msg = , retry = 1
<131>Sep 25 17:01:07 GUI [1296:1296]: APP <3+error > 667.766.538:from[app_vpPhone] sync[0] msg[396175][0][0] size[36] target[0xd2919e64] not found

The web ui also shows 'auto configuration failed'.

Not sure what's going on here or why provisioning only works on boot. Any tips?

T42S factory reset without default password

I recently picked up several 2nd hand Yealink T42S handsets from auction.
These have been customised and the default password is not "admin".
I need to factory reset or change the password back to "admin", so I can login and reprovision them.

The firmware currently installed shows version: 66.81.193.110

So far I have tried the normal factory reset method of holding the "Ok" button down waiting for the prompt and then selecting Yes. This prompts for a password which is not "admin" (keeps saying wrong password).
I have also tried the another method I came across when searching for a answer - which is to hold the "speaker" button down and power cycle the handset. I get to the 1.TFTP or 2.USB display on the screen. I stop pressing the speaker button and press 1 for TFTP... It then displays some IP address settings (192.168.0.100,255.255.255.0,192.168.0.1 and a TFTP address of 192.168.0.23) . The instruction i had found suggested I press OK button and then power reset the phone and it would perform a factory reset.
Unfortunately it just boots back up with the same settings.
Can anyone help me ? I would hate to have to throw all these handsets out.

Hi,
I have a T21P_E2 (Firmware 52.84.0.10) the BLF Light is ON when Unavailable/UNKNOWN, is it right?
Is the BLF Light should not turn off when Unavailable?

Hello,

I curious if anyone has had any experience creating custom programable keys for ACD login/logout and ready/away

Here is how I want the keys to funciton.

2 keys that start as LOGIN and AWAY

User Presses LOGIN key it sends *60 and the button changes to LOGOUT
User Presses AWAY key it sends *61 and the button changes to READY
User Presses READY key it sends *63 and the button changes to AWAY
User Presses LOGOUT key it sends *62 and the buttons change to LOGIN and AWAY

Is this possible using only 2 keys (preferably programablekey.1 and programablekey.2)

Thank you!

W80 - Problem with sync level

$

Hello,

I have a problem with the configuration of the W80 DECT base station.

I added 3 W80B to my W80DM controller.

The terminals are configured in the same cluster, and we have different synchronization levels (sync 1 for base 1, sync 2 for base 2, sync 2 for base 3).

The problem is that my phones don't synchronize anymore if I cut the base 1 that has sync level 1.

Knowing that only one terminal can be put in sync 1, I find myself having to manually change the level of the base in case of failure, which is not viable.

In your documents you say this:

A base station always synchronizes itself with a base station that has a higher sync level.
If it detects several base stations with a higher sync level, it synchronizes itself with the base station that has thestrongest signal.
If it does not detect any base station with a higher sync level, it cannot synchronize.

If the base in sync 1 no longer works, the higher level base becomes the base in sync 2, and the phone should be able to provision itself on it.

Can you tell me if this problem is normal?

Regards,

Samy

IP call (Direct call) with SRTP

Hello. We have several Yealink T19 E2 for Ip calls only, all ok. Now we need use SRTP with this calls.

Read in admin manual about SRTP, use this parameter:

RTP Encryption (SRTP) - compulsory
Transport - TLS
Only Accept Trusted Certificates - Disabled

We do it, but dont see lock icon. In manual - "When SRTP is enabled on both phones, RTP streams will be encrypted, and a lock icon appears on the LCD screen".

What are we doing wrong? SRTP feature available for IP Call?

Thanks for the answer.

Switch account on T48S - Outgoing caller ID remains at default account

hi all

we've sevaral accounts on the T48S defined. When the user switches accounts (top left corner), the new account is displayed on the screen correctly. but when the user calls an internal number, the caller id from the default account (on the caller/sending device) gets displayed (on screen of the receiving device). how can it be changed, that also the internal id/name of the actual selected account (instead of the default account caller id) shows up on the receiving side?

thanks

ps: please forgive me, if this question has been answered before, but since the search functionality in this forum just let me search one term/30 seconds, i decided to raise a new topic instead of waiting...

pps: how stupid is this 24h-post-registration ban to post a topic in this forum?

Got Ha*ked!

Hello,

Will explain this situation because it has freeze my mind!

Some body somehow configured a inconditional forward to this number: 0048717357850 in one customer's phone, it's a T22P with firmware version 7.73.0.50, this is not the weird thing... the phone is in a normal LAN and there's no open ports forwarded to the phone so nobody can enter to the webui to change that.
The hac*er who make this also changed other things because in our server's log can see that changed the callerid to try beat the security of the voip server and make the call hence all call were rejected, but he/she could make a big hole in the wallet of the customer.
Of course the password in the phone was changed in admin and user accounts before that hack, and no ha*k or vir** was detected in the customer's LAN so the a*tack was performed from internet and don't know how it is posible without access to the phone by the ui or by anothe open port forwarded to the phone

Maybe somebody can tellme how they do this, and how to protect my customers

Thank you

URL for returning the current phone state?

Hi,

We've had a request from a customer wondering if there is a URL on the Yealink IP phones that returns the phone's current state. e.g. In a call, ringing, on DND etc. Something that I can send a GET request to and get this information.

I can't find anything in the Yealink documentation to suggest this. Is there anything?
