Bug Report: Tones for T2x phones

When the firmware is newer than 52.84, I found that the phone can't handle multiple frequencies (harmony tone) the tones consist of 2 or more notes (Yealink supports up to 8 notes).

Example:
!220/333,!262/333,!440/333,!349/333,!294/333,!349/333,!587/667,523+466/20000

In this case, 523+466Hz, only 523Hz will be heard. Only the first note supports multiple frequencies.

I just upgraded the newest firmware as of today. And the release note didn't mention this problem. Therefore, as expected, the problem is still there.

On/off codes

Hello,

Can somebody tell me how on & off codes works?

Example:
I'd like to activate by code always forward function. So I entered the always forward target number and on code code in the On Code field (*7). The same with off code(*8).

Now, when I dial *7 nothing happens. Calls are not forwarded.

Screen 'refreshes' every couple minutes

Ever since adding a custom background and screensaver to my T46S (provisioned through Intermedia) it will 'refresh' the screen during the screensaver - it dims and undims. It's annoying because I think something important is happening on my phone in periphery.

Anyone know of a way to prevent this?

user-agent name edit (add mac address)

Hello,
Dears can you please tell me how to add mac address to user-agent info?
I have many phones and the user agent name is Model and Firmware
like this Yealink SIP-T46S 66.84.0.15

A few days ago I registered a T23P phone and I noticed that it sends mac address in user-agent value as well.
like this.
Yealink SIP-T23P 44.80.0.101 00:15:65:xx:xx:xx

I need to know how can I add the same for all my phones.
I have more than 1000 phones (all models).

T46S + EHS40 + Jabra Engage 75: does not work properly

Hi,

I just received the EHS40 to connect my T46S to my Jabra Engage 75.

The issue is that it does not seem to work properly.

Every time I lift the headset, the Jabra base thinks I'm already starting a call and the only way to answer a call or hang up is on the phone and not through the button of the headset.

I don't know what could be the issue (there's little info on the manual).

The firmware version of my phone is 66.83.0.35

T23G Unable to obtain IP after upgrade

Have 3 x T23G's - have upgraded all 3 to firmware 44.83.0.95 from 44.83.0.20

Two are fine but the 3rd is unable to obtain IP address

Any thoughts please?

W60B/W53H Bestbase option not working

I have one W53H registered to two W60B bases. The handset will connect to each base when I manually select a base. When I select bestbase, the base with the most signal is intially selected. My problem is the handset will not move to the second base even if it only has one bar of signal from the first base and I am standing 3ft from the second base. The only way I can get the handset to move to the second base is by selecting the second base manually or by selecting bestbase when I am close to the second base. Any suggestions?

Speed dial Key adds pickup code when it shouldn't

I have an issue with T46S and T54W phones.
When I configure a Speed Dial DSS Key, the pickup code (**) is dialed after the phone number, every time.

In the administration manual, here's what is mentionned for the linekey.x.extension


Parameter linekey.X.extension[1]
Description
For multicast paging:
It configures the channel of multicast paging group.
For BLF/BLF list/intercom feature:
It configures the pickup code.
Note: It is only applicable when “linekey.X.type” is set to 14, 16, 24 or 39. It is not
applicable to T19(P) E2 IP phones.


Speed dial is a type 13, so it shouldn't dial the pickup code, but it does. Also, there is no linekey.X.extension setting in the provisioning file.

Is this a known situation ?

I have deployed BToE via group policy and this is working, I have deployed version 6.0.15.0 however the client keeps mentioning that there is a newer 6.0.12.0

Is there a way to stop the Yealink BToE checking for updates?

Dial plan - How to include # at end of dial string

Trying to configure dial plan to include the # symbol at the end of the dial number or string. We have Yealink Phones working with an Avaya PBX system which accepts short codes e.g. Call pickup Extension would be *32*2345# where 2345 is the extension number. However when entering
the short code sequence on the Yealink Phone you get "Invalid Number" when you enter #

Could someone please tell me how the Firmware versions relates to the actual firmware? For example when a post states "it will only work work v71 or v80 does that me for example if my existing version is 28.83.0.55 they are referring to 28.83.0.55 would be v83?

T56A/T58A door phone questions

Hi,

Before buying, I wanted to check if this is doable:

a) when receiving a door phone call, display the video from a MJPEG HTTP stream source, and be able to preview the video before answering the call.

b) can the soft button to activate the relay door, be configured with a HTTP link instead of a on call code? The goal would be to open the door without answering the phone (when video is enough).

Is this possible on T56A or T58A?

Bluetooth on T56A with Teams doesn't work

Hi there,

Has anyone else managed to use a Bluetooth headset on T56A with Bluetooth headsets? I've firmware 58.15.0.85 and I've tried 2 different Plantronics headsets and so far the only thing I can do is to pair them with the phone. There is no audio. When I make a phone call on the phone, even though Bluetooth is selected, no audio.
