Firmware flash not possible on T58A-Teams

Hi everybody,

I had to switch from Teams Edition to SIP because we changed the phone provider.

After a long journey to get the .bin and .rfs files, the phone won't flash.

TFTP Log for uploading the .rom says: "Peer returns ERROR <File too large> -> aborting transfer".

I got this error with all T58A-Firmwares I tried, even with the original one.

T55A Teams Edition + EHS40 & Plantronics W740

Hello, we are testing the above, but the sound is distorted from the microphone on the W740 headset using the EHS40 USB headset adaptor, we have tried adjusting volume control on W740 and also the T55, but the sound is always distorted.

Has anyone else tested this configuration, and is it supported?

T48G SIP Phone Register Status Disabled

T48G SIP Phone

On friday we have set up Skype 4B internal web service and now 18 of 60 devices are not able to login. When user try to login with btoe or extension he got the error message "unknown reason" and register fails then.

The phone is getting the settings and configuration after factory reset from the prov server, but won't register.

In the WebGui it just says: Register Status Disabled

Any ideas how to enable it?

T46S Static IP Issue

I have 40 or so T46S phones. When I fire up the phone with DHCP enabled, they all pick up a valid IP address. I then hop in the web interface, flip them over to a static IP matching the exact IP that they picked up using DHCP. This has worked for 36 of the 40 phones.

However, 4 of them will not connect when using static. I let them pick up an IP address using DHCP, and then set that IP to their static IP. They get no service. If I then flip it back to DHCP, it gets service, and it is using the IP address I had set as the static.

Any reason this would happen to just a select few phones, and any way around this?

T55A Upgrade 58.15.0.85 Netowrk Unavailable - how to downgrade or restore?

I tried to upgrade a T55A to .85 firmware. Now when it restarts, it says "Network Unavailable". I've tried factory reset and everything I can see in the GUI and nothing will restore network. DHCP does not work. Static IP assigning does not work. Please help.

Emergency Call over T41S

Dear all

im New here and i have a Question:
I work for a Doctor who has a Phone System with T41S and Handhelds from RTX 8630.

In Case of a medical Emergency or Fire or something else i want to call 1 Number for example "300" and every single Phone from the System should ring.
Is this possible?
Nice would be a different Ringtone
absolutly great would be an extra Message on the Display called "Alarm"

T42S Inbound Call Issue

Hi Guys

I am working on a rate issue at the client today.

Issue:
One of the phones failed to receive inbound calls randomly. To look into it further, I've done a Pcap on the SIP server end to see how that phone behave. The result indicated the SIP server is sending call invites to all 5 phones. And, only the problematic phone responses to the invite with "SIP 302 moved temporarily" whereas the other 4 phones responses with "SIP 180 Ringing".

Here are the spec and setup:
> 5 x T42S (Firmware: 29.88.0.90)
> DND: disabled
> Busy call forward: disabled
> Always call forward: disabled
> Local Directory: 14 pages with approx 145 entries
> All phones are connected to the same VoIP Service, internet connection and local switch

Attempted Solution:
-> Firmware update (Failed to address issue)
-> Factory reset (Failed to address issue)
-> Change the local network port and cable for the connection (Failed to address issue)
-> Checked local directory - blacklist (It is already empty)
-> Deleted all entries in the local directory (It addressed the issue)

Any idea what is the possible cause and fix for this issue, if the customer still want to use the Local Directory?

Hello,

Looking at v84_80 Admin Guide, you can find several instances of LED configuration
such as

expansion_module.page_tip.blf_call_in.led = $LEDr300o300$

1. Where can you find documentation of these $LEDr300o300$ values ?

2. Is there any T4X, T2X or T5X phone with BLF LED that supports 3 or more colors (green, red and at least a third color (yellow, ...)) to let you implement enhanced presence (one color for "away" status, an other for "away for long", ...) ?

3. When phone has a color screen, can you play BLF label background color to support more than 3 or 4 states for BLF ?

Update EHS36 with T41P?

Is there any chance to update the EHS36 when you only have a T41P?

I use the T41P & EHS36 with a Jabra 920 PRO and have no phone control.
When I set the Jabra to DGSG it doesn´t work anymore, only with Auto detect it works, but when I press the button on the headset it only shuts off and on (blue light on /off), but I cannot take or end a call with the button.

Does this device support USB mode so that it can serve as a PC device in Desktop Teams app? How about Speed Dial options for favorite users? What other Teams features like these that exist on the desktop client (but not this phone) are on the road map?

I have some low volume issues on T21p, I saw that this issue was resolved in rom 34.72.0.42, could you please email me this version so that I can fix this issue that affects more than 50 company devices?
