Add second OU in BASE.

Hellow. I need include 2 OU for search on LDAP.

My work example: OU=FDO,DC=fdo,DC=local

I need add OU METTEM-M, but my examples not worked. Possible add second OU?

I try:

"OU=FDO,DC=fdo,DC=local", "OU=METTEM-M,DC=FDO,DC=local"

And

OU=FDO, OU=METTEM-M,DC=fdo,DC=local

But not worked.

A client of ours recently had a penetration test done and they found multiple vulnerabilities on the phone system.

I was wondering if there was a way to force TLS 1.1 and 1.2 and disable less secure cipher suites.

Zoom Room Setup - NO License page, Webserver will not enable, Plugin not working

Got the CP960, trying to use with Zoom Rooms, has anyone else actually been able to get this working? here are my list of issues, cannot believe it is this difficult

- POE supplying power, but dont want to use it for network, so enable WIFI

- WIFI works fine and is on same network as PC running Zoom Rooms and Yealink Zoom Rooms Client

- Following instructions from Zoom and from Yealink, but either they are outdated or wrong or both.

- Webserver on phone does not stay enabled, no matter what I try, WIFI, wired, static, DHCP, always boots from change to enable webserver, then reboots automatically and when it comes back up, disabled webserver.....so frustrating.

- Yealink webserver (when I have somehow made it work, for a few minutes) does not have a LICENSE section under SETTINGS - or anywhere in the webserver portal. How do I add a LICENSE??

- Zoom Room Firmware - downloaded latest one and installed, and Zoom Rooms shows up, so that works....but -

- Zoom Room Yealink PLUGIN - never connects, just shows disconnected, and Media and Signal Port - not sure where on the phone to set those, that setting does not exist anywhere in the webserver or phone admin area.

So painful!!

If anyone has experience here that would be great, we timed our purchase perfectly, Yealink has been out on a company closure for 7 days and so no response on our tickets, so trying the forums

Silence at the beginning of a conversation with Yealink T48G and Yealink T46G

Hello!

There are 2 Yealink T48G and Yealink T46G phones.
The T48G phone rings on the T46G, and the T46G hears silence for about 1 second, at which point the T48G is already talking.

Configured jitter buffer, set the type to fixed.

But it did not help.
The problem is floating and not clear.

I tried BF-CBC, which works, and AES-256-CBC, which does not work.

Unable to bring up dial-pad in call (URGENT!)

I've just upgraded my client's four Teams phones to the latest firmware: CP960-73.15.0.45.rom

However, they have reported that once they have established a call, there is no way to get the dialler back so they can enter enter (for example) a conference code to join a meeting.

How do they bring up the dial-pad during a call?? This means the phones are currently nearly useless as they are used primarily for conference calls.

My immediate thought was to downgrade the firmware to an older version CP960-73.15.0.38.rom but when I try this, it fails to upgrade with this error: https://i.imgur.com/tc8Qdsh.png

Remote PhoneBook format for several models

Hello,
we are trying to implement the Remote PhoneBook funcionality, but after reading several documentation files, we found that there are a number of diferent "formats".

We currently have the following models : T-19P, T-21 ,T-23P, T-23G ,T-28P ,T-28G ,T-38G.

Is there a way to build a Remote PhoneBook that uses several departments and displays a menu with their names allowing do better organize the phone numbers, and use that file for all these diferent phone models?

T46 – Directory Help

Hi – I hope someone may be able to help…
I have around 50 T46s Handsets around my company and we want to search more than 1000 directory entries.

I am running an IP Cortex PBX which has capacity for 10,000 directory entries.

I am running firmware version 66.84.0.15 on all handsets, but I can still only read up to 1000 directory entries.

How can I extend this? Is there a different way to read the phonebook in excess of the 1000 entries?

T58V Stuck in "Please Import License" Mode

I installed an older firmware on the T58V, thinking that it was newer. It is running 55.9.250.26.

I installed teams. Now the gui and the screen are both locked in a "please install license" state. I setup http file server (virtual folder, not a real folder) on my lan to force it onto T58(T56A,T55)-58.15.0.53.rom or T58V(T56A,T55)-55.9.250.26.rom.

I can get into the advanced settings and the gui using a admin password. But the factory reset seems to keep the phone in the "please import license" state. How do I get this phone into the TFTP Recovery mode? Did I brick the device by loading 55.9.250.26? The phone is being factory reset since it forgets the wifi password. I tried holding down speaker or redial, but the phone doesn't reach an idle state. the gui says "import license" even if I click Security, License. I have a temporary license granted too, but I can't load it.

Record all calls to USB

A customer wants to record ALL calls to a USB drive. He doesn't want to start/stop recording because his people won't do it.

I cannot find a setting for this. Is it possible?

The phones are T53 and T53W.

Oops. I found it.

features.auto_recording.enable = 1

However, I've now noticed that the timestamp on the recordings are many hours ahead of the time shown on the phone.

I am trying to recover some T46S phones using TFTP, i have the 3 files required, but every time i am getting an error message stating the ROM file is too BIG. does any one have any ideals please. This is what i am getting

Converting T58A to Teams

I am currently unable to flash this phone with the Teams Firmware and can't find the reason. Am I out of luck or is there a trick to this? Thanks for any help.

Detailed boot process and ways to add local configuration?

(I post here since I was not able to post this text below in "Auto Provisioning". I appologize.

However, ultimatively it's a question about configuration.. :-)

Is there somewhere a detailed description of the boot process of yealink phones available?

I mean really detailed. I find lots of information on the boot process, but distributed in several places in several detail levels. However, I did not find anywhere a description that includes for example a (boot) flow diagram or the complete boot process from applying power, until the phone is ready to be used.

On each step through the boot process, there are several ways to give a configuration to a phone.
Also the boot process is different between a phone that has no configuration (i.e. there was a factory reset), and a phone that has a configuration.

Why do I ask these questions?
1 - I would like to understand de boot sequence in detail
2 - I want to find out when and how I can introduce additional configuration to a phone


Example:
I have phones (T46S) that are autoprovisioned by an asterisk server located in the cloud. Unfortunately, I cannot change the .cfg files that server is providing to the phones as I do not have direct access to those files on the asterisk server.
The phones need some additional configuration that the server config files are not delivering. Since I cannot add an include file on the server, which would be the most elegant solution, I need to find another way.
The question here is where and in what boot phase can I add those configurations to the phone, without access to the .cfg files on the server?
I could introduce a tftp server with DHCP, but I would have to be careful not to break the provisioning relationship between the phone and the asterisk server.

So, can I tell the phone during the boot process something like:
"Here is your IP address and there is a tftp server.. but only load one small .cfg file on the tftp server and then continue with getting the rest of your configuration from your autoprovisioning server in the cloud..

Having better knowledge of the boot process in detail might help me understand.
