Hide Call History on Yealink IP Phones

Hi,

I have a client that has several Yealink T41 phones and I've setup dial prefix as a method of restricting outbound call to only authorized employees. The problem is with there old PBX system, they were prompted to enter a code, but with 3CX I don't see that options, hence the reason I use dial prefix.

Does anyone know how to hide or immediately delete the call history on the Yealink phone so when the redial button is pressed or if you go to Call History on the handset, it does NOT show the last called number + the dial prefix(code)?

All I am trying to do is restrict outbound calls to external number by using a code.

Hi

Is it possible that a T4XX Yealink can ring (Not a tone) when someone is already on the phone and a call is incoming ?

i did some research but i don't find anything about that (Except that it doesn't work)

T53W - Inter Digit setting on W56H slave

I have a T53W phone with a DD10K DECT dongle and a W56H wireless phone slaved to it (the T53W is acting as the base and the W56H has the same extension number as the T53W).

The inter-digit timeout on the wireless is set very short, like 1 second. You have to dial fast. I can't find a way to alter that. Is there a way?

The Inter-digit timeout on the T53W is set to 4 seconds and I can find that setting in the web interface. There's just nothing there for a wireless

Creating Custom BLF shortcuts

Hello,

A customer of ours has requested shortcut buttons that will take them straight to the call forwarding page of their Yealink T46S handset (Rather than going to Menu - Features - Call forward - Always forward).

Could anybody advise on how to do this? either through/templates/UAD or BLF.

We are using 3CX (Already asked on the 3cx forums, but we were advised to ask here)

Any help is very much appreciated.

Random handset dropouts and "Initializing Data"

I have a customer with 11 of these W52P handsets at 5 different site addresses:
  • Site 1 = 4 handsets
  • Site 2 = 3 handsets
  • Site 3 = 2 handsets
  • Site 4 = 1 handset
  • Site 5 = 1 handset
All the handsets are within 10m of their respective base station.

At random times, sometimes multiple times per day, all handsets on a site will simultaneously lose connection with their base station. This happens at every site (not simultaneously across sites, just within one site).

All handsets connected to a base will get the "Initializing Data" message on the display, and logs show that the base station is pushing the config to the handsets (date/time, handset name etc).

The handsets/base stations are configured as extensions on a hosted PBX platform (LG-Ericsson iPECS Cloud)

Each site has different connectivity.

This has been going on for some time, and the customer is at their wit's end.

What can we do to resolve the issue?

Hello,

I just created a ticket to Yealink in regards of this issue, but in case someone can provide a quick solution, I'm also posting it here.
Phones are T21P_E1 with firmware 52.81.0.110 and T27G with firmware 69.81.0.110. Both models have the same issue.

I did not find anything related to this on the internet and I can't really know how to name the problem since it is not really a One-Way audio issue.
Here's some scenarios:
1- A (Yealink Phone) calls B (Yealink Phone) on the same network on the same Asterisk server. Call connects and A can talk to B, but B can also talk to A.
2- A (Yealink Phone) calls B (External Land Line). Call connects and A can talk to B, but B can also talk to A.
3- A (External Land Line) calls B (Yealink Phone). Call connects and A can talk to B, but B can also talk to A.

Problem in all those scenarios: If B is speaking to A, and A starts to speak to B while B is still speaking, one way audio issue starts and A will no longer hear B and B will no longer hear A until either A or B stops speaking.

I have a particular remote phone that was compromised yesterday and a bunch of international calls made on it through the forwarding being set. I turned off the forwarding, erased the numbers in the forwarding fields, changed both the SIP password and the phones administrative password. The phone has been compromised several times today.

How are they getting into the phone and how do I stop it?

Will the VP59 have either SfB or Teams firmware

I love the specifications for the new VP59, and especially having the DECT handset option (this would come in very handy for our reception desk, especially when receptionists have to step away, they can take the cordless with them), but we are Skype for Business (we are purchasing mostly the T58A phones.

Anyway, will these have Teams or SfB? Some of the website documentation seems to indicate this is likely. Any idea on an ETA?

W60B DECT can't dial 911, using wrong port

I'm having an issue with ONLY the w60b DECT phones on a 3CX installation. The issue is that when calling 911, and only when calling 911, the phone is not using the correct SIP port. Instead of using port 3560 for the call, it goes back to the default of 5060 to make the call and thus fails. When calling any other number, it uses the correct port and the call goes through.

I have tried using the firmwares 77.83.0.20, 77.81.30, and 77.81.0.10 and it happens on all of them. I have attached pictures of the pertinent INVITE as captured by the pcap trace on the phone itself. The first attachment is the failed call to 911 and the second is the successful call to another number that uses the correct port.

This is a HUGE issue for us (and anyone really) that I need help with, any advise would be very welcome

T48S Firmware for SFB

I can't seem to locate the SFB firmware for the T48S. Two of the phones we ordered came in with the SIP firmware and I need to upgrade these two new ones to SFB. Can you provide a link, please?

XML Parsing Error when attempting login via web browser

When attempting to login to a DECT Base W60B, via any version browser (IE11, Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.), upon pressing the Login button, the silent error below (shown only in browser debugger window) gets generated.

Visibly, nothing happens. There is no way to login now.

Two RT30 doesn't work with W60P in chain mode

Hello all.

I have some problem with W60P and two RT30 in chain mode. It doesn't work.
Second repeated can't connect to base thru destination one.
I've used users manual v1.0
I tried to configure automatic chain or manual, it doesn't matter.

For auto registration:
1. both RT30 register with base - ok
2. on one of them long press button, after that : POWER LED = solid green, DECT = flashing orange. - and what state will be forever...
But in users manual said, after some times should be : POWER LED = solid green, DECT = solid green/orange but it doesn't

With manual chain registration:
1. after first RT30 registered on base W60P and both led solid green, I've to press button short, and RT30 flashed by RELAY LED it's own ID 2
for example.
2. On second RT30 long press button for : POWER = solid green, DECT = flashing orange, and short press 2 times for ID 2, after
RT flash back twice , long press button and POWER LED = solid green, DECT = flashing orange. And it's all. Second RT30 will never enter
in chain mode. (POWER = solid green, DECT = solid green/orange )

I tried to change ID's of both RT30, nothing! Last firmware W60B-77.83.0.25.rom + factory reset. Nothing.
original firmware : 77.81.14.1 doesn't work too.

Now I'm stack.
Maybe someone have any clues ?

and i load back have only 500 phone entries
