BToE connection lost randomly

We are experiencing the following issue:

We are using the BToE connector with Skype for Business.
The connector randomly disconnects the connection with the phone.

Phone type: Yealink T46S
Firmware Version 66.9.0.42
Hardware Version 66.0.0.128.0.0.0
BToE Connector: 6.0.12.0
SIP Platform: Microsoft Lync Server 2013
Desktop client: Skype for Business
Windows 10 1809

Bug in version 3 of YDMP?

Hi,

We recently upgraded our YDMP from version 2.x to 3.0.0.13, but we have encountered a severe bug: each time we restart our Skype for Business servers, our T48S phones (working with the latest firmware) are trying to re-establish their connection, but they fail, as the account provisioning from YDMP is sending wrong account data.

Our sip-addresses differs from our loginnames (sip is like firstname.lastname@MX-domain, while our loginname is formed by a combination of characters from the first and lastname, followed by our active directory domain name).

In version 2.x of the YDMP, both the sip-adress and the loginname where registered fine in the YDMP-database, but in version 3.x, the sip-name is registered in both the "Register Name" and "Login Address"-fields in the YDMP-database. This results in a wrong loginname provisioning when the T48S-phones connects to the YDMP for their settings (the phone shows the sip-name filled in in both fields, and the phone is denied access to the server, as it is providing a wrong loginname)

I already contacted Lydis.nl (our local dealer for Yealink products), and they confirmed my findings. We have >700 T48S phones which were having this problems (users had to reset the loginname each time they restarted the phone or we restarted our servers), and the only solution at this moment is to block all access from the phones to the YDMP, making it impossible to change any settings on the phones.

Please resolve this bug ASAP, as we have no control over our phones anymore.

Pin Authentication option missing

Hi all,
A group of users I support are using the T46S Skype for Business phone/firmware.
Currently the option to use PIN Authentication is missing from the mode drop down in the Account tab, and the PIN and Extension fields are disabled. Is there any way to enable this?
We would like to be able to log in using the PIN# instead of the username and password.

See attachment of 1 with the option, and 1 without(problem child).

Creating Paging Groups

I have a customer who has two businesses under one account. I have set up one business using the 100 range extensions and the other is using the 200 range extensions.

I want to create two buttons -Page 1 and Page 2-, so, when Page 1 is pressed it calls the extensions on the 100 range and when Page 2 is pressed it calls all the extensions in the 200 range.

I am using all Yealink T46S.

Can anyone help me set this up?

T29G DTMF Duration

Hello.
Can the DTMF tones be configured to sound for as long as the button is pushed?? I am trying to get a gsm gate intercom controller to accept a tone ( 1 button ) to trigger the gate to open. The default setting is not quite long enough for the unit to recognise the tone.

Yealink T56a Handsets Auto Attendant delay

Hi Support,
We have 30+ of the T56a handsets that we have deployed to a customer. Direct dial of the users MS Teams DDI works fine in every aspect.

We are seeing a problem when using the Teams auto attendant feature, the delay for the call reaching the handset and it ringing is over 5 seconds, the Teams app on a computer rings almost straight away. This is not providing a good end user experience, is there anything that can be done for this? The Teams app on the computer and the handset is on the same network obviously logged in as the same user.

Phone delayed sound after answering a call

Hi, I have deployed around 20 t46's and each one of them have 8 active lines (accounts).

When a call comes in all the lines ring/light up.

When one of the users picks up the call, you can hear a very annoying sound coming from all the other phones, as if the phone was closing the calls, as if it was a low trilling sound.

The users find this very annoying.

How can I fix this?

CP960 Microsoft Teams firmware

I have recently upgraded the firmware on our CP960 to the Microsoft Teams edition. I was able to get it set up properly, however, on every single call so far we've experienced audio issues where the people on the other end of the call cannot hear us at all. Their audio comes through crystal clear, but they cannot hear us. It tends to last about 30 seconds to a minute, and then they can hear us again. We never experienced any issues like this when using the SFB firmware. We had an hour call this morning and they lost our audio about 4 times, for up to a full minute. This has happened consistently n every single call we've made since upgrading the phone (about 2 weeks ago). If I disconnect the phone and use my computer microphone, it works flawlessly the entire call, so I don't believe it is a networking / connectivity issue.

Has anyone else tried to upgrade? If so, are you experiencing this issue as well or is it something specific to my setup?

How can I set the admin password for T46S during provisioning?

Hello,
in order for the warning message to disappear, the admin password must be reset.
In order not to have to set the password manually for every T46S phone, I would like to do this during provisioning. But I can't find the right configuration term, e.g. in the CfgGeneratorTool 2.0.0.16.
So how can I set the admin password for provisioning?
I am using the T46S(T48S,T42S,T41S)-66.84.0.15.rom

Hi all,
Can someone point me towards a way of using the Teams handsets to call the voicemail custom greeting menu? In the Teams app it can be done via the settings menu, surely the handset can do something similar? I have a lot of users wanting to set up voicemail and change it regularly but not all have the desktop app installed.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks!

Set ring volume

Hello there.

One of our customers needs to be able to set the ring volume on an admin-level, so the end-user can't change it (proper user training doesn't seem to be an option for him)

It seems to be doable on Yealink T46, according to this thread: http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=40981

But I can't find this option in the provisioning-template of a current T41 or T48.

Is this ever going to be implemented again or is there another way to do that?

Transfer voicecall etc button

Just relized this is an ongoing request 6 years old. New to Yealink

I would like to be able to program a button with say a *5 (in Yeastar is a voice call) then the end user could press a BLF key to voice call an extension.

So end user
Presses the BLF key it dials the *5
but then
They press a BLF say 221 so 221 gets the voicecall

Same thing with ** for transfer to voicemail

So the end user could press a key labeled TranferVM then press the BLF they want to send the key to

This way the end user doesn't need to remember the feature codes

Not sure if I am explaining this clearly but hope so

Hello i read W56 have 500 phone entries
but i think for every phone only 100 because if i load 250 phone entries in one Phone
and i load back have only 500 phone entries
is it possible to use 500 phone entries for all phones

I have two issue:

1 I have some T22P, after I upgrade them to 7.73.0.50, when user be dialing, them auto restart

2 I remove DHCP 66 option from my dhcp server, but my tftp server still get phone's request, which configure cause it ( I want just I manual or when the phone boot it work)

OpenVPN and QoS/TOS

Hi!

If you connect a Yealink phone via OpenVPN, is there a way to set the QoS flags also on the openvpn packets? I know it is possible to set QoS on the audio packets, but if these are tunneled via openvpn, the openvpn packets don't have a QoS flag set.

OpenVPN has the option "passtos", which ensures that the TOS field of an encapsulated audio packet is copied to the encapsulating openvpn packet. Setting this on the openvpn server works like a charm for audio traffic from the openvpn server to the phone, but setting it in the client config doesn't seem to have any effect: although the tunneled audio packets have their TOS field set, the openvpn packets don't.

So, I would like to know if it is possible to set the TOS field of openvpn packets originating from the phones? I'd be grateful for any tips.
