User Account locked - Re-enter password for Exchange services

Hi!

we've the bought the T48S for testing purpose. The Skype4B License is installed.

It works fine so far with firmware 66.9.0.25. But there is one thing different from the T48G with Skype4B License.

If the user account gets locked the phone prompts immediately to re-enter the password. The T48G does not prompt for credentials. Are there other timeouts?

Yealink T46G/S power saving mode on 66.82.0.20 firmware

Hi,
My phones are T46G and T46S
Firmware Version 66.82.0.20
Hardware Version 66.0.0.128.0.0.0
The power saving mode is disabled by template setting
features.power_saving.enable = 0
and it works BUT after the phone is rebooted it goes to power save mode after 30 mins (i think it's the default value), screen goes black. BTW I managed to switch off the infamous power LED blink on power save.
When the display is waken up from power save by pressing any button, the phone never goes to power save again (expected)
So, only that initial restart puts phone in power saving mode.
Is it a bug? expected behaviour? anyone knows?
it wasn't like that in v81 firmware. Only appeared in v82
Please help

T46G recovery files

Based on my searching here, seems the only method of obtaining these files is from Yealink admins via private message.

Can i get the recovery files for the T46G? Thanks!

Current time not displayed when a call is missed

If we miss a call or a voice message is left the time shown on the phone is no longer the current time but the time the call was missed. We want the current time to always be displayed. What do we need to change?

VLAN bug

So network setup is:

VLAN 10 is untagged = 10.0.10.0/23 (for voice)
VLAN 20 is tagged = 172.16.10.0/23 (for data)

Firmware is version 80.0.95 but has been the case since version 70

The internet port on the phone is connected to the network switch and the PC port is connected to the computer.

When the phone reboots, during the initializing period, the phone passes UNTAGGED packets to the PC port, therefore, as the network connection is temporality dropped on reboot, when it is re-established, the computer requests a new DHCP address and since the untagged VLAN 10 packets are being passed, an IP address in the range of 10.0.10.0/23 to the PCs instead of an IP address in the 172.16.10.0/23 range. Once the phone has restarted, the switch in the back of the phone operates as expected only allowing tagged VLAN 20 packets through. So renewing the IP address on the PC again, gives the correct IP address.

While its easy to fix, its quite annoying as every time any of our T42G or T46G are restarted, if there is a PC connected to the phone at that time, then it will get the wrong IP and therefore will not be able to connect to network services anymore.

Hang up tone

I doubt there is a feature for this, but would be delighted to find out that this is just some setting. With my previous DECT phone, when you press the red hangup button, the phone emitted a tone so you would know that button was pressed and the call has been terminated. With the W60B, when you press the red hangup button, you just hear silence. Would be a nice to have if the phone made a confirmation tone that the call has been terminated.

Hi everyone,

I am new to the forums so i hope this is the right place for this topic.

I am trying to setup USB Recording for the T46S and T42S phones.

From what i can tell from the Admin guides there should be a parameter that needs to be changed in the config generator tool 'features.usb_call_recording.enable'. Thing is i don't see this parameter in the config generator tool I am using.

I am using config generator tool version 2.0.0.13. I don't see any newer version of the Yealink site.

T48G Screen does not work

I purchased a new T48G through eBay Seller. The telephone screen did not display anything and looks grey.

I emailed the issue to Yealink. I received a response which started with excuses not do anything. In the end the company did nothing about the issue. I still have the dead phone with me which keeps on reminding me how company ripped me off with $US 180. I will never buy a Yealink phone again.

Date and Time Incorrect on T40G Phones

We have a new 3CX install, 15.5 SP3, with different model phones but the date and time are incorrect for the T40G model, all the others show the correct date and time. They show 12:00am Fri Sep 01. We are also using Yealink T46S phones and they are OK. This is happening with the out of the box firmware and updated firmware, v76.82.0.20. We are using the 3CX default pool.ntp.org and can ping this from the phone. Thinking it may be a firmware issue as all the other phones, T46S, W52P and CP-960 are showing the correct date and time.

Different Local SIP port for each SIP account on W60P

Hi Yealink Support,

We have the same issue with new Dect phones as it is already reported on http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthrea...+SIP+port. Different SIP accounts registered on different handsets of a same base fail oftenly to make calls between them (to transfer a call for example).
The possible solution to this issue is the use of intercom. This solution is acceptable when the internal calls to SIP extensions are only between the Handsets registered to a same base. If the user wants to make a call to a handset registered in another base or another desk phone, the process for call transfer will be different. It means that in an office with some Dect phones and Desk phones, the attended call trasfer process between Dect phones to Dect phones (of same base) and Dect phones to any other phone will be different. Which is not accepted by the customer.

We have received the same issue from several customers and we have been able to solve the issue with the FW 25.73.0.40 for W52P and W56P but in those customers where we have W60P this issue cannot be fixed coz there is no V73 for this model.

As you have commented on above mentioned thread that from V80 onwards all the SIP accounts would use the same SIP port, could you please let me know...
1) Why Yealink has changed it?
2) Was there a demand from any market or any wrong behavior of previous mechanism has driven Yealink to take this step?

Is there any solution on the roadmap? Like something that do Grandstream phones as it is described below?

We have also see in Grandstream Dect phones that allow the user to create different profiles and assign SIP accounts, Handsets and Local SIP port to each profile. Morever, Grandstream phones also offer the possibility to use "Random Local SIP port" for each profile which gives extra control to the administrator.

Blind transfer option is missing

The blind transfer option does not appear on the phone when the option soft key is selected during a call. I have used the web ui to enable the feature, but it still is not present. Firmware has been updated to the latest (25.81.0.10) to no avail. Does anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Hi All,

Please Is there any way for using speaker and headset in the same time ? Training using is needed.

AND,

How can I avoid drop the call when user switch from speaker to headset while press on speaker button.
1. User answer a call through headset
2. User switch on the speaker
3. User switch off the speaker on pressing speaker button call is dropped.
(I know that if user use headset button, the call will be active on headphone without drop the call, but I would like avoid dropping the call)

Context :
Phone : T27G series
Headphone : Jabra + ES36H
Firmware : 52.82.0.20
