T23P recovery mode help

I have a T23P that gets stuck initializing so I can't do a factory reset or access the web UI. I am able to get into the recovery mode setup but I don't know where to get the TFTP server. Can you point me to the download and instructions for this?

T29G Conference Button Becomes Inactive

I have users on T29G phones 46.80.0.25 that are complaining that the conference softkey becomes inactive/unresponsive. They have to reboot the phone to get it working again.

T42G not sending auto-answer alaert

Hi, We are trying to use intercom on a T42g. We have the button set up correctly. We are not seeing the "Alert-Info:info=alert-autoanswer" coming from the calling T42g. Is there another setting that I need turn on/off to allow a T42g to make a intercom call that will send the "Alert-Info:info=alert-autoanswer". We have this same feature working on a T48g.

get status phone in command line

Hello,
I am surprised not to find a possibility to easily recover the Phone status with command line.
I used until recently SNMP but on new phones there is no longer service.

I have need it for a script: I will check if account is registered and I'm trying to find out if the account is "Registred" and if not send a alert.

The restfull interface is a good start but there ars not keyword "status".

W52P - One Way Audio With Outgoing Calls

Hi,

Our W52P Dect Phones has issues with outgoing calls and no audio, and happens randomly our conistatnly on curtain numbers. The Called Person hear everything, but the caller (W52P) hears nothing. The other direction works fine. It mostly happens when calling 800/866 numbers.

We've made the neccesary changes, disabling SIP-helper, Sip-nat-trace, rip, and SIP ALG. We don't use nat-traversal and experience the same issues when the deivce is plugged in directly to our firewall and modem, it has the same issues across multiple ISP.

Any thoughts on fixing it?

I want to lock the ring volume +/- key. Even after key board locked, keys are working. My model no is T19. We don't have any auto-provisioning server.

T42G dhcp issue

Hi,
we have mixed environment with Polycom VVX and Yealink T42g phones.
Phones should receive DHCP address from voice vlan and tagging is configured on HP 5130 switches. CheckPoint firewall acts as default gateway between VLANS with allow all rule.
Problem is, that with LLDP enabled or DHCP Vlan option or even manualy vlan tag set yealink phones do not receive ip address. If i disable VLAN option completely phones succesfully receive ip address but from data vlan.
I would suspect switch configuration, but polycom phones do receive ip addresses from voice vlan without any configuration tweaking.
Can someone advise what should be checked?

Anonymous LDAP access not granted with autoprovisioning

Hi,

we have set up anonymous LDAP directory access in WebGui and everything works as expected.
If we autoprovision the LDAP settings with

ldap.user =
ldap.password =

access to the LDAP server is not granted.
If we remove the dots in password field of the WebGui and save the config access is granted again.

Also access is not granted if we are provisioning without the above mentioned options for user and password.

Maybe a bug?
Or are we doing things wrong?

Phones Not Supported in red but has supported firmware

Folks,

I am by no means a pro at this but I'm running 3CX ver 15.5 and all T46G's and almost all of my phones are showing as not supported even though they have supported firmware installed (Snip attached). Any ideas on why? I did a factory reset on two of them, re-registered and re-provisioned them and now those seen to fine. I don't really want to have to do that on all of them individually though. Any input is greatly appreciated...thanks.

BTW, all the phones appear to be working properly. I think this happened right after upgrading the 3CX PBX.

T21P E2 Send softkey missing

Hi,

We purchase a mixed model of Yealink Phones, and 1 of it is T21P E2. the issue is when i select a from directory to call, the SEND softkey is not showing. what could be the issue and what is the resolution to it.

Common config with t46s not working

So, I am using autoprovisioning with mac.cfg and y000000000066.cfg.

The manual states to use the last two has the hardware number.

The t46s will grab the mac.conf just fine, but it will not grab the common.cfg.

Any ideas?

Do i have my common config name wrong? The hardware version for these phones is 66.X

Hi all,

A problem with phone firmware updates from the server - the phone detects a new version, but the update does not happen - the dialog box closes with no result. Current firmware 35.8.1.52, new 35.8.1.65, in wireshark dump i see http get request
Code:

W56H Ringtone

Is there any way to configure the phone to use the ringtone that we manually set rather than what the PBX is telling the phone to use?

We have a W56H and right now the phone calls that ring the business phone number triggers a hunt group which then calls four phones. I looked every where in the host PBX settings to adjust the ring tone and could not find a setting.

When I go to adjust the ringtone manually it saves correct but it is the wrong ringtone being played when ringing. We did change the DID ringtone which does work.

BLF audio alert (ring)

when the current BLF audio setting came out i was delighted.
features.pickup.blf_audio_enable = 1
features.pickup.blf_visual_enable = 1
features.blf.ring_type =

But horrified to discover its a global setting for the phone - so all BLF keys assigned to cause the phone to ring in response to a call on any of the monitored extensions.

This makes it almost unusable.

Example 1- a PA supports 5 managers and wants to closely monitor calls to their phones. But the PA has 20 other users monitored on BLF where the old low level audio alert or no audio alert was adequate.

Example 2 - A receptionist answers most inbound calls but if she's not answering the call overflows to a call group of 5 people, each of whom have other BLFs populated .
The current result is the group will be audio alerted for all calls making the feature too disruptive.

Whats needed is the ability to select the Audio alert/ring setting to be made at BLF level not phone level. The setting could just be ring type under the Type 16 key.

Search in Directory (LDAP/XML)

Hi,

searching in directories should of course be simple.

I realised that if I want to search the string "Peter" in my diretory I could type the numbers 73837.
This method works for XML based files but not for LDAP based searches.

Is there an option to set to use this "wildcard" search also in LDAP binded directory?

[Workaround] BLF caller preview with Asterisk and T4xG phones

Hi,

what is sadly not working with Asterisk is if you want to get caller info (cid) on a incoming call to a monitored phone (BLF).

I wrote a short script to get this info within a AGI script which pushed the info to the Yealink phones via XML.
It may be helpful for other users.
So if somebody is interested in this please let me know and I will clean up the script and post it here...

Multicast won't overwrite blank

Tested on T42S with both 66.81.0.61 and 66.81.0.110.

If you set a multicast address (manually or via provisioning) for slot 1, you cannot clear it with a blank entry in your provisioning file.

multicast.listen_address.1.ip_address =

The immediate workaround is to set it to a dummy IP, so it's not urgent. Seems like this may be a bug/feature request?

T29G v81 During call set up, intercom or broadcast page will barge in and cancel call

I've tried almost all versions of v81 code they and all seem to behave the same way in this scenario.

If user A is making a call to user B, and user B has not answered the call yet( still ringing) and user C makes a group page or an intercom call to user A, User A's call to B is cancelled and User C's page/intercom is auto answered.

It does not matter if "Intercom Barge" (features.intercom.barge) is enabled or disabled.

If I downgrade to V80 code, this does not happen.
