XML App InputScreen

Hi,

I am having some trouble understanding the InputScreen object.

1) The following displays as I would expect, but I can't type anything into the 'Test' field using the keypad:

Code:
<YealinkIPPhoneInputScreen type="number" Timeout="0" LockIn="yes" displayMode="condensed" editable="yes">
<Title wrap="yes">Test Input Screen</Title>
<Prompt>Test:</Prompt>
<URL>http://10.2.2.20:83/yealink/xmlapps/ioboard/comment-menu.xml</URL>
<Parameter>commentpage</Parameter>
</YealinkIPPhoneInputScreen>

2) If I add another InputField, the 'Test' field disappears and I still can't enter any value from the keypad.

Code:
<YealinkIPPhoneInputScreen type="number" Timeout="0" LockIn="yes" displayMode="condensed" editable="yes">
<Title wrap="yes">Test Input Screen</Title>
<Prompt>Test:</Prompt>
<URL>http://10.2.2.20:83/yealink/xmlapps/ioboard/comment-menu.xml</URL>
<Parameter>commentpage</Parameter>

<InputField type="string">
<Prompt>User Name:</Prompt>
<URL>http://10.2.2.20:83/yealink/xmlapps/ioboard/menu2.xml</URL>
<Parameter>username</Parameter>
<Selection>2</Selection>
<Default>hello</Default>
</InputField>
</YealinkIPPhoneInputScreen>

3) The URLs on additional input fields seem to be ignored....what are these used for?

Thanks,
Kevin

Strange BLF LED behaviour since Firmware upgrade

We recently upgraded our T46G and T27P to new firmware releases.

T46G: 28.81.0.20
T27P: 45.81.0.20

Since the upgrade we noticed a strange behaviour on the phone displays. The Free/Busy status with the green and red LED can be seen just fine, but if one the numbers receives a call, all LEDs from all BLFs are flashing red and the display is waking up from sleep.

BLF LED Mode is set to 0. Any ideas? Or is it a bug and we just have to wait for a new firmware upgrade?

Plus symbol unknown URI scheme

Hello,

We're getting a few random SIP calls with a + symbol leading the phone number. When attempting to call these numbers back from call history it's showing unknown URI scheme.

Is there a way to enable the phone to dial/try + then 10 or 11 digit numbers. Example: +8885551212 or +18885551212

Multiple Ringing Lines on T41P

$

Hello, I have a T41P registered with 6 lines from VOIP.MS, ALL THE SAME LINE\ACCOUNT and the calls come in with no problems. However, only the FIRST call rings. If I am on the phone when subsequent calls come in, I can see the indicator for the call and answer it, BUT, there is no audible ring indication.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what I need to do to make ALL lines ring when calls come in? Is this supported?
Thanks and have a blessed day...

Firewall blocking internal calls

I have just setup a W52P using freepbx and endpoint manager, the freepbx server is in the DMZ.
It auto provisions just fine and the phone tends to work quite well, except for internal calls from the W52P. These seem to be block by the firewall, strangely it seems to be blocking incoming packets from internet to the phone. I am only getting a host name, which is something like “ezsetupsystema01d4ab5bf43cfsc”, no ip address appearing on the firewall and seems to using ports 11780 – 11790.
When dialling the extension will ring but there is no audio in either direction after pickup. Opening up those ports on the firewall resolves the issue, however I don’t want to open up ports from external sources into my network.
Strangely enough, calls from the W52P to external numbers, external to W52P and internal calls to the W52P work just fine, its only calls from the W52P to other internal numbers.
Does anybody know how I can fix this issue?

Phone provisioning: Display message on screen

A while back I was researching on how to get a message on the phone from the server side to the phone. While researching this, I had come across the method I need to really use before even knowing it.

I had run into an example where one could use provisioning to display a message on the telephone LCD screen.

I cannot find this example again, and I have looked in the documentation on provisioning without luck.

Any ideas on this?

Thanks.

W52P Reliability issues - Initializing data

$

Dear All,

We have had the W52Ps for about 18 months now but never really got them working well. The Desktop handsets we use (T42G) all work fine so the problem is isolated to the cordless ones. We get the following issues:

1: The individual handsets will randomly have "Initializing data" on the screen
2: The base stations web interface will stop responding (monitored with Zabbix)
3: The handset cuts out saying it is 'busy'

Once you reboot the station and the handsets it all goes back to normal for a week or two, however the user can miss a call if they don't notice the phone has stopped working which is very poor in a customer service environment like ours.

We have 5 base stations and around 20 W52handsets all in constant use with no repeaters. Before these we had normal cordless phones with ATA adapters and they never had the same sort of issues (and were much cheaper). We have the latest firmware on all the handsets and bases.

Any help would be appretiated as I know this is not isolated to jsut us looking through the forum!

many thanks

Chris

Upgrade W52H and W56H firmware over the air

Hello,

The W52H and W56H can both be connected to the same base at the same time.

When configured as documented, both handsets try downloading the same exact file when I do it this way:
Code:
#######################################################################################
##                                  Handset_upgrade                                  ##
#######################################################################################

#OTA upgrade of handset is not possible unless all three of these conditions are met:
#(1) Handset with firmware 26.40.0.15 or later
#(2) Base station with firmware 25.40.0.15 or later
#(3) Handset with hardware 26.0.0.6 or later
over_the_air.url = {$firmwareHandsetURL}
over_the_air.base_trigger = 0
over_the_air.handset_tip = 1

How do I make it so the W52H can download handset-26.73.0.30.rom, and the W56H can download handset-61.80.0.15.rom?

Problem with forwarding call after no answer - SIP-T26P / SIP-T27P

$

Hi,

All our phones at the office are from Yealink and we recently thought it would be better to transfer our calls in case of absence.
I tried the “always forward” option and that was a succes but when I tried the “no answer forward” option we stumbled upon a problem which we can’t figure out how to solve…

We have 2 different Yealink phones with the same problem:
- SIP-T26P
- SIP-T27P

After enabling the “no answer forward” option (with the other 2 options disabled) we put in the telephone number and the ring time (no on/off code).
—> When the ring time is on 12 sec the phone forwards the call to a cellphone but only does this for about 2 rings and then switches back to the Yealink to retransfer the call after 12 seconds. It’s looping continuously.
—> When the ring time is anything above the 12 sec the telephone says it’s forwarding but nothing happens.

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance!

Call Transfer when Call is being held is broken

Any T4x phone using firmware version 35.80.0.95

Call flow:
When I place a caller on hold, then press the BLF key for another user the call gets transferred automatically.
What I want to do is place a call on hold, call another user and say "joe is calling for you, can I transfer to you?" they would say either yes or no and based on the answer I could then transfer the call to the other extension. The way it is now I cannot put the call on hold to see if the other user can take the call.
My switch vendor Netsapiens is asking me to
"stop the device from sending a reefer when trying to page. "

Please help
Thanks
Chris

T46-28.81.0.XX Firmware Bug EXP40

We have some customers using the T46 phones with the EXP40's for sometime now and have never had issues with them. After updating to .15 firmware they called in reporting that none of the BLF LEDs would light up, just dark and the overall screen was darker. We found that the .20 update came out and tried that and she said it seemed a little better in terms of brightness but the buttons still weren't all lite up. We then reverted them to T46-28.80.0.130.rom and everything is working normally.

Opus Ultra Wideband and Fullband

It's great that you have added Opus to the latest 81 firmware.
Thank you for that!

Now currently only Opus narrowband 8kHz and wideband 16kHz are supported on your phones. We are using T23G.

Please add support for Opus ultra wideband 32kHz and Fullband 48 kHz as well.
Asterisk supports the whole bitrange of Opus.

This way we could have an even greater audio experience.

Companies like Zoiper are doing this on their soft phones already.
See attached picture.

Is that something your development team could add?

Issue with T46G freezing up

Will a desktop PC connected directly to the port of a T46G cause the phone to freeze up or have issues. I have a Yealink T46G w/ exp. module on a Yeastar S100 and the phone is having issues. I'm wondering if the PC connected to the port of the phone may be causing the issues since it is pulling loads of data on the network?

Does anybody know about using RPS for provisioning? How do you get a login for it? I sent a ticket to Yealink but they keep closing it without responding to it.

T48G with WIFI auto provision bug

$

When you are using auto-provision with a T48G the phone looks for a file {MAC}.cfg on a tftp server where {MAC}.cfg is a file which matches the mac address of the ethernet adapter. This works great until you install a yealink wifi dongle. When you install the dongle the phone gets a new mac address from the dongle. Not only is the mac incorrect when you log into the web interface (It's still the wired mac address) it's also wrong on the phone menu system and worst of all the phone still uses the wired mac address to find it's .cfg file. This of course doesn't work at all. The firmware needs fixed to use the proper mac address of the wifi adapter. I've verified this using tcpdump.
