I am using Yealink T23G phones with FreePBX distro and its endpoint manager for provisioning.
Endpoint manager tells the phones to check for config updates and when they do they always reboot.
For most changes to take effect a reboot would not be necessary. A reboot is quite inconvenient for an administrator and for a user too.

Could you please add in a future firmware release for the phone to not reboot when updates are pushed?

Other manufacturers of IP phones (like Sangoma) don't require a reboot when the phone checks for updates: http://community.freepbx.org/t/update-co...boot/38507

Hello, I cannot find any information on this in the user guide to the t49g and I have a customer specifically asking for a demo of the OPUS codec. Asterisk supports OPUS and the t49g's datasheet shows it supports it, however, I cannot find the option under "Audio Codecs". I am on the latest firmware which is 51.21.0.1.

Is it possible to park a call on a desired extension by pressing the park soft key and then pressing the BLF or speed dial key that is assigned to the desired extension? I currently can not get this to work. I can park a call on a desired extension by pressing the park soft key and then dialing the extension number. Is there something in the configuration I need to change to allow parking a call on a desired extension by pressing the extensions BLF or speed dial key?

What could be the the reason for the upper right corner light to be flashing on my T23G?
No voice mails.

This has been happening after the upgrade to 44.81.0.20.
Other people seem to be having a similar issue:

We have a Yealink phone (W52P) that won't charge.

The light on the charger cradle doesn't burn when plugged into the socket. Does this mean that the charger cradle is defect? The rechargeable batteries of the phone itself are empty, and when putting the phone into the charger cradle there is no sound, no light. Nothing happens. The phone itself works when putting in other batteries, so that doesn't seem te be the problem.

If the charger cradle is defect, is there somewhere where I can get a new charger cradle?

When I press the redial button or history, the placed calls menu doesn't show dialed number but CID calling party number.
CID:1652, which is the number I dial from.
How can I change that to actually seeing number dialed?

Hello,

I have T42G phones hooked to a Zyxel Gigabit switch with PoE. However, my phone switches back to 100Mbit/s, despite having both the phone and switch set the port to auto. If I try to force the phone to gigabit, nothing changes. If I force the switch, then the switch and the phone do not connect (i.e. the phone keeps rebooting until I change the configuration back to auto or 100Mbit).

Is it possible to use T42G with Gigabit AND PoE? If so, anything to do on the T42G side or the Switch?

When sending a SIP notify with “Event: check-sync”, a Yealink phone won't reboot if
sip.notify_reboot_enable=0 is set in the config file.

Now the question is, with sip.notify_reboot_enable=0 and a SIP notify with “Event: check-sync, reboot=false”, will the phones reboot if changes to the config file were made that would require a reboot to take effect, such as to VPN, LDPP, etc.?

Hello,

I accidentally provisioned my W56 base station with a provision template for a W52, which pushed firmware 25.73.0.40 down to it. I am now missing any provisioning, upgrade, etc buttons and cannot re-provision the base station to send new firmware.

I am in need of the recovery files please!

Hello all,

I have T49 video working in multiple ways. HOWEVER. I cannot get video to work with VERTO with freeswitch when using a layout other then 1-1. I just get a black screen.

Any suggestion on how to do this?

Hi -

On our T46G's, i have the DSS keys set up as BLF's for different rooms in our home.

FreePBX is set up to auto answer any internal paging so that we can communicate around the home.

If i press a BLF for one extension (say, Kitchen), and there is no one there, naturally i may press another BLF (say, Office) to see if they are there.

The problem is, what actually happens is after i press Kitchen, if i do not hang up first and instead just press Office, the two parties are instead connected together with me shut out! I then have to go to either Kitchen or Office and manually hang up.

Does anyone have any idea why this may be?

In Features->Transfer->Transfer via DSSKey is set to 'Blind Transfer' if that is relevant.

We have enabled the PC Port on the Yealink T42G and changed the VID to 2 but once this is done we lose our internet connection on all PC's connected to the port...This is where the IT person says he changed the Vlan number on the switch too...My question is; should these VID's be changed at all and what do they and priority represent????

Plantronics Savi Office W720
EHS36
RJ cable from Phone to Headset

Pickup and Hangup are working perfectly well.

But there is no Audio?

Can you please help?

When my friend calls, and I answer using the T22 speakerphone, he and I can hear some weird static noise. If I answer using the handset, this does not happen. Does this mean the microphone in my T22 is going bad?
