Failed registration, factory reset

Hello

One of our phones stopped receiving and sending calls
When I tried to check it the registration state was: registration failed
I checked all credentials and re-entered them, but it wasn`t registering
It was working fine one day ago and suddenly it stopped.
Only after factory reset and re-configuring the phone, it started to register again.
The user swears that he didn`t touch it Dodgy
And now I`m curious why it happened Huh
Any one have any ideas?Undecided

Local Sip Port - Set Range of Ports?

Hello,

This is my first post on these forums, and I could not find an answer to my question in any other topics.

My question is regarding T2 and T4 series phones (example, T46G firmware version 28.73.0.50)

I see it is possible through the configuration file and also the web portal for an individual phone to specify a local Sip Port.

It is possible to set a range of ports in the configuration file in order that multiple devices will automatically use different Local SIP Ports in that specific range?

My goal is to avoid having any phones registering using port 5060.

Use devices from different áreas

Hi I have a Yealink W52P and one W52H from área Brasil, I bought 3 W52H but those are from North América área, even having all of those devices with the last firmware I am not able to syncronize those W52H from North Ámerica with my Brasilian base. There is any limitation related to the áre that those devices came from?

Calling Handsets in Different BaseStations

I currently have 10 W52p Handsets on 2 Base-Stations. Can the 2 Base-Station communicate with each other? With out having to set up 2 different Extensions?

For Example

-Base Station 1-
1.Kitchen
2.Office
3.Room 1
4.Room 2
5.Room 3

-Base Station 2-
1.Living Room 1
2.Living Room 2
3.Guest Room
4.Master BRoom
5.Room 4

Can I call from Kitchen to Living Room 1? With out having to set up a new extension and call it? Like calling from Office to Kitchen? Like if they where on the same Base-Station.

Cannot hear caller sporadically - several T28

Two different T28's at different sites have had this problem in the last year. Both phones were in service for over a year before the problem started. The user started being unable to hear callers, frequently but not always. And only on the handset. The call works fine when put on speaker.

I've replaced the handset and handset cord. No change. Only replacing the phone cured the problem.

The firmware was not changed since installation. Neither was the network. All other T28's on those two networks are working fine. They were in regular offices with heat and A/C.

Has this been see before? Corrosion in the jack perhaps? Or a failing amplifier?

DTMF Tones to "Inband"?

So we have a customer who is having infrequent issues when calling numbers that require you to press keys etc (IVR). Quite often they'll call, press the keys, and nothing will happen.

After doing some research I found that it might be a good idea to change the DTMF setting to "inband".

Is this a good idea, and is there any chance it'll affect something else in the process?

T4x Page Notification

It would be nice if you could enable a single beep for page 1, double beep for page 2 and a triple beep for page 3 for the DSS keys.

Also having the option to pick up the handset and set it back down to return to page 1 would be helpful for visually impaired users

Default Password No Longer Works

We just provisioned a base and 2 handsets with Ring Central today. I note that I can no longer access the base using the default password. I did NOT change it.

Firmware for base is 25.73.0.40
Handset is 26.50.0.20

Handset is Flashing "...NOPACK"

Our two handsets are flashing "...NOPACK" on the screen for some reason. Sup with that????

Dropped Audio During Calls

I have full or 3 bars shown on the handset. We are experiencing dropped audio during calls to the point that it is affecting business. This is a new provisioning via Ring Central today.

Firmware for base is 25.73.0.40
Handset is 26.50.0.20

T38G auto-provisioing. How to clear out value of a text parameter

Hello,

This may be a silly question, but I seem to be unable to figure it out.
I'm trying to auto-provision T38G, firmware 38.70.1.33, and I don't see
how I can clear out a text value after it has been initially set. Let me explain.

For example in mac.cfg I set:
voice_mail.number.2 = 138

After reboot the phone recognizes this setting and I see "138" as vm number for account 2.

Now I want to remove this setting so that account 2 has no vm number configured.
If I change mac.cfg as follows:
voice_mail.number.2 =
then phone just ignores it and account 2 still has vm number set to 138.
If I set it to be:
voice_mail.number.2 = " "
then phone interprets that literally I have vm number set to "quote-space-quote".

What should I do to clear up that value?

How to transfer calls to an external number

Hi, I'm using T22P phones and a MyPBX U100. Can transfer calls to an internal number no problems, and can dial out to an external number fine by dialing 9 first, but how do I transfer a call to external number?

Can't get call pickup groups to work

Hi, using T22P phones on a MyPBX U100, and I can't work out how to do call pickup groups!

Are they handled purely through the phone, or is it linked to config in the PBX somehow?

I've setup the following:
• Account / Advanced / Group Call Pickup Code: *99
• DSSKey: LineKey1=Group Pickup, Value = *99, Line = Line1
• Features / Call Pickup:, Group call Pickup = Enabled; Group Call Pickup Code = *99

But when a phone is ringing and I dial *99, I get the following message on the phone: " Address Incomplete".

802.1x Certificate for PEAP

We have a number of T46G phones, firmware version 28.72.0.45, that we are trying to enable for 802.1x network authentication. The radius server is Windows 2008 R2, as is our certificate CA.

Our switch config, connection policies, accounts and certificates work for OSX, Ubuntu Linux, Windows 7/8, iOs, and Android devices...but no matter what I try I can't seem to get the Yealink's to authenticate. The NPS server event log shows the client logon failure, with error 23, indicating the PEAP encountered an issue. Pulling a PCAP from the phone shows alerts in the conversation, each of which end with "Level: Fatal, Description: Decrypt Error".

I've tried exporting our root cert in every way I'm aware of, but can't get it to work. Has anyone successfully deployed 802.1x on this model?

Hi,

I've got this annoying problem when I pick up the headset and before I make an actual call I can hear my own voice (ie breathing etc) in the receiver. I've done some reading about "side tone" but I cannot find any place to switch this setting off. It's certainly not a setting in the Web GUI of each phone.

Can somebody help me understand why it's doing it and how to switch it off.

Details of the firmware etc are below;

Firmware Version 31.72.0.75
Hardware Version 31.0.0.0.0.0.0

T23P Call control

Hi,

My company is planning to change current Cisco phone to YeaLink T23P IP phones.

With current Cisco phone, we can configure/control user call authorization via phone passcode, so that only some users are allowed to make oversea call, while the rest can only make local call.

Can i know how we can do this in YeaLink phone?

LAn/Bridge not working

Hello,

I have a bit of a curious problem, LAN/Bridge is not working. At least in some circumstances.

I plug in LAN at the "Internet" port and the PC at the "PC" port.

1) PC behind the phone gets IP address from DHCP: This works on one PC and does not on three others

2) PC behind the phone has a fixed IP address: PC has network access, while phone says no network connection.

I tried this on multiple PCs (4) with multiple phones (3, all T48G).

Any ideas?

T26 Distinctive Ring not working

I have been trying to get distinctive ring working on a T26, I can get this working on T22 no problems.
I have tried upgrading or even down-grading the firmware, but still no joy.
Anyone got any ideas if it even works?

Make Time and Date Larger

Hi,

I am interested in making the time and date larger on the T38G. Right now it is pretty small at the top of the phone and is difficult to see when not sitting right next to the phone. I was thinking of using the XML Idle Screen but I have not had any success. Does anyone have any ideas or code for the XML Idle Screen?
