T46G firmware upgrade causes problems

I have upgraded to a Netgear R8000 router which caused my 3 x W52P and 1 x T46G to develop several problems. Firstly the T46G was no longer able to communicate with the W52P's, so we de-registered and re-registered the W52P's. Nothing changed.

Next I upgraded the T46G firmware to 28.80.0.70 and the W52P to 25.73 0.40, which I saw as the most recent versions, and now have even more problems.

I can not Transfer incoming calls from the T46 to the W52, the T46 indicates Recall if I try.. The caller is not disconnected but no transfer is made.

The display indicator lights on the T46 no longer show when a W52 is in use.

Is there any where I can download a "cheat sheet" of the correct setup? I should also say that the system had been working satisfactorily for the last 18 months until the router upgrade.

PS: I now have been advised that I may need to disable the "SIP ALG" on my Netgear R8000 router. Can anyone help on this point, please?

T46G with other bluetooth dongle ?

I'm trying to connect a Sennheiser MB Pro 1 via USB dongle.
The headset recognices the dongle, but the T46G does not.
It tells me it didn't find a bluetooth adapter if I set bloetooth to enabled.
Should that work or is it mandatory to use the Yealink Bluetooth USB dongle(BT40) ?

Speed Dial Keys Disappearing

HI,

We are having Speed Dial keys that are programmed on T46 phones suddenly disappear. They are firmware version 28.80.0.60. A speed dial can be setup one day and then the next day or two it is gone.

Thanks!

T23G Multiple SIP accounts on Multiple SIP Servers

I am not able to join the T23G phone to two different sip servers.
My first account is active and working. I have created a second account to a FreePBX box and I am watching asterisk with -rvvv and I do not even see an attempt to register with PBX.

More information.
If I disable first account, the 2nd account will register. Only one SIP server at a time?

T26P Correct Firmware

You have 2 firmwares available to T26P,
6.73.0.50.zip
6.73.193.50.zip

How can I tell which one to use?

I think i may have updated to a wrong one.
Another question, is I have a T23P and I used the same configurations of LDAP on a T26P and I can't acess the directory on the T26P.

Thank you

Remote phone book mac in URL

Hello,

My provider requires that I pass the Phone's MAC in the URL to retrieve the remote phone book. IE: Http://my.server.url/phonebook?mac=MYMACADDRESS

I tried using $mac and that doesn't appear to work. Is there a variable we can use to remote phone book URL to pass the MAC address?

Time Offset with Broadworks on t46g

I can't seem to get the time offset to take no matter what i do with this phone. It appears that it is always going through GMT as it is 6 hours off. I can not find anything on line that is useful. I have tried several things, but I believe this is one of them that i read:

local_time.time_zone = -6

and putting us/central or whatever in there.

ok they must be needed to factory defaulted. worked.

Calls interrupted on T42G

Hello,

One of our client has several T42G that used to work until recently.

Now on one of them, calls are sometimes interrupted with no obvious reason.

Here is an extract of the system log (level 3 is all I have for the moment but I've set it to 6 and will get more traces tomorrow).

Thanks.

T46G call completed elsewhere

Hi,

the yealink T46G (firmware 28.80.0.70) displays calls as "missed calls" which are answered by another phone.
The pcap on this phone shows the SIP cancel packet with the correct reason code: Reason: SIP;cause=200;text="Call completed elsewhere"

I have read that the phone should not display this call as missed call if this reason code is sent.
Is there any option in the phone which must be set so that the call is not displayed as missed?

bye,
Chris

Using Yealink GUI (request) (ping) (traceroute) ICMP

Hi Yealink Team:

Are there any plans for this in the pipeline:

Could you add a few basic 'network testing' tool options in the GUI (web interface) on the Yealink SIP-T29G and SIP-T4x sereies phones?

Ref:
For the testing of ICMP (ping and traceroute) (from the point of view of the phone)?

For example:
Under the network TAB (then under the basic or advanced section)

Add a "ping" function box (where you could type in an IP address)
Add a "traceroute function box (where you could type in an IP address or URL)

This would help when trying to learn what the status of the network is like from the point of the Yealink phone.

Right now, it is too cumbersome to turn on the system logging and reading the exported output.

Thanks for considering this and your reply.

T48G Firmware 35.80.0.60 Broken

I updated to the latest firmware today and discovered in a few minutes the following are now broken. Park keys do not show caller is parked, the DSS key should turn red, stays green. User button should turn red when the user is on the phone stays green.

I went back to 35.73.0.50
Its hard to believe that this new 35.80 was tested and then released.

T46G behind firewall

I've upgraded several T46G phones from v72 firmware to v80 firmware.

When I access the webinterface internally there is no problem, but the phones wich run on the v80 firmware are not reachable from the outside.

I have forwarded both port 80 and 443 to on phone. When the phone is on firmware v72 it is reachable from the outside IP address through the firewall. But when the phone is on v80 firmware I get a connection to the phone but the page stays blank..on http and https

Does anybody encounter the same problem? Maybe management from other subnets is blocked?

Changing Profile directly on phone? [T46G]

Hi everyone,

we installed at a customer a VoIP system.
This has now 3 DR's. (Noon, evening, weekend)
The customer wants to switch all 3 DR's manual directly on the phone via button.

At noon I was able to solve via DND (DND In 3CX => DR)
In the evening I was able to solve via CallShare on DR.
Another forwarding does not seem to be possible as if no matter what forwarding is active, it is always the same (previously set number) extension.

Now I would like either a 2nd forwarding which will be sent to another DR setup or can set the profile via key to "Away".

Is something like somehow possible?

I look forward to answers and thank you in advance directly.

Best regards,
Nico

DR = Digital receptionists (if it is unknown)

Sorry for that bad english. Sad

T46G Set softkey to specific DID's

Hi, is it possible to assign multiple softkeys to represent multiple did's? I have a 12 channel SIP service connecting to my freePBX server, what I would like to do is allow my T46G Yealink phone to register 1 account with my freePBX server, then assign softkeys to the specific did's for our inbound lines.

For example, if we have 3 separate lines/did's, our receptionist can pickup line 1, but also see that a call is ringing on line 2 or line 3.

busy light

i have a customer that insists on having a busy light when they are on the phone. there are a number of these on the market (they light up when you are on the phone) but the Plantronics one does not work with the ehs adaptor is in use or so Plantronics says. they are using t41's and t46's with Plantronics cs 540 headsets and the ehs 36.

i can't find any product that works with this combination of equipment. does anyone out there know of something that does work?

T48G Hide dial pad option

If you set a key to type Prefix and want to use it as "Prefix + DSS" it is very annoying because the DSS keys go away and the Dial Pad comes up. It would be nice to have the ability to disable that behaviour. There is already a usable keypad on the phone, instead of a second redundant keypad on the screen, leave the DSS keys.

W52P LDAP or Remote Phonebook

Hi
I have new a Yealink W52P.
But it is described in http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=232 that LDAP should be available, but it isn't.
I have firmware:
Base: 25.73.0.40
Handset 26.73.0.11

Nevertheless I tried to use Remote Phonebook, but I always get a "Connect Error!" message on the handset when selecting the phonebook. The xml has the following format:
<YealinkIPPhoneBook>
<Title>Yealink</Title>
<Menu Name="qwe">
<Unit Name="Patrick9" default_photo="Resource:" Phone3="+4144xxxxxxx" Phone2="+4179xxxxxxx" Phone1=""/>
</Menu>
</YealinkIPPhoneBook>

And once more:
I prefer to use LDAP and I'm surprised that this is not available as mentioned in other posts too.

Thanks
Patrick
