T28P phone - Vlan & LLDP dhcp option

Hello,

I'm having difficulty getting a handful of Yealink T28P phones to work with automatically obtaining an IP address using DHCP Option 132.

I've configured router & switches.. Option 132 works 100% perfect on Grandstream phones I have. The phone will power on, and automatically switch to the voice VLAN.

However, the Yealink T28P phones when powered on, Will be stuck on "Obtaining IP address" and never goes to the voice VLAN.

If i manually set the VLAN option within phone network settings, phone reboots and works fine. Any idea?

Direct Pickup can't be disabled

I have T42s, T46s, T48s. My system Directed Call Pickup Code is **. I'm experiencing this issue with firmware 35.80.0.60, 29.80.0.70, 28.80.0.70.

If I set Directed Call Pickup on the phone to Disabled, the BLF for the monitored extension flashes (as expected), but when I push the BLF, it does a directed call pickup, even though I've disabled it on the phone. I've even gone so far as to set the Directed Call Pickup Code to NULL and it still will do a directed call pickup.

I've had to disable the Directed Call Pickup for my entire system to prevent unauthorized extensions from picking up phone calls they shouldn't be able to pickup. Disabling the Directed Call Pickup for the entire system still doesn't prevent the phones from attempting to do the pickup.
Upon further digging, I figured out that there are directed call pickup settings: account.x.direct_pickup_code, features.pickup.direct_pickup_code, and features.pickup.direct_pickup_enable. Setting features.pickup.direct_pickup_enable to 0 isn't enough to prevent the directed call pickup attempts. I had to Null out both direct_pickup_code spots and also set direct_pickup_enable to 0 in order for the phone to not attempt to do a direct pickup when the blf is flashing. I would expect that features.pickup.direct_pickup_enable would disable it system wide, but clearly that isn't the case. It would seem to make sense to remove the redundant pickup_code's as I have to wonder what would happen if different codes were specified in different spots.

Display 'directory' softkey for call transfer

active phone users such as office admins will wish to transfer inbound calls to internal or external numbers using the 'directory'. Therefore I need the directory softkey to display one or more of the directory types, local, remote 1 remote 2.

I've tried modifying the 'Transfer' softkey template XML but, because I think it's a dynamic template changes are ignored. Modifying the softkey layout in the gui is effective but impracticable for large customers.

T23G fail pick up with Interactive Intelligence Software

Hello Folks!

We've issue with the Model Sip Phone T23G and Interactive Intelligence.

If we tried to pick up the call from the program of Intercative Intelligence the call keep ringing and we couldn't pick up the call. Something happend with the communication.

Nevertheless, when pick up the call from the phone (take the Handset) the communication bewteen the software ININ and the phone is normal.

I tried to upgrade the firmware to the lastest version, but the problem remains.

Please your help.

T46G Not Time Syncing to DHCP or NTP

Hello,

I have a problem with my phone Yealink SIP-T46G.
Firmware version 28.80.0.80
DHCP Time = Enabled, have also tried disabled
Primary Server = 0.ca.pool.ntp.org
Secondary Server = 1.ca.pool.ntp.org

Does not do any sort of sync at all. Like the function does not work. Only way I can change time is with manual settings.

I followed the steps down, but still the same problem:
------------------------------------------------------
1.check if you have enable "DHCP time" feature,if yes,please disable that,then test again. - Tried both, no luck!
2.check if you select a correct time zone? - Yes and have tried multiple
3.check if your NTP sever address is correct? - yes and have tried multiple.

Hi to all,
I have the VP530 (fw - 23.70.0.41) and I want to use its HTTP commands like the T22, but I can't find any information about it. This means that these HTTP commands aren't implemented in this device?

T20P on Vonage now dropping calls anytime after 5 minutes

This just started happening this Monday. Half our office is on softphone using XLite and the other half are using T20Ps, only the people using the physical phones are having issues with calls dropping anytime after 5 minutes.

T22P 7.73.0.50 Provisioning fails with authentication

I upgraded my T22P to the latest 7.73.0.50 firmware. Provisioning with basic authentication fails. My server sends 401 UNAUTHORIZED at the first request but the phone keeps requesting with no credentials.
I downgraded to 7.72.0.80 and it's fine.

Search contact when phone ring via Remote Phonebook

Yealink phones support showing contact from Local Directory, Remote Phone Book and LDAP when calls reach the phone.

I am using LDAP at the moment, it is handy and works as design. When call reach the phone, it will search LDAP directory for the contact information. However, we shall keep the LDAP database updated regularly.

I am thinking if Remote Phone Book may support HTTP query by caller id. I can write a simple PHP or CGI script to perform the search on a HTTP server and return the contact information to the phone. Is there such option in Yealink phone?

For example, http://myserver.com/search?callerid=01234567

By using that, I can always get the latest information from backend contact database without the needs to update static phone directory on LDAP or Remote Phone Book.

T48G login issue

Hi,

I bought a used T48G, but the phone is locked to some service provider.
After reset the phone to factory default I still can’t access the web UI with double “admin”
Is it possible to unlock the phone by using recovery files?
Yes? How do I get these files?

T23G and YHS32 Headset Issues

Hi All

We have ongoing issues with about 20 T23G phones and the YHS32 headsets (matched to 3CX pbx). Issues that we are experiencing:

- headsets simply stop working with the phones.
- we get one way voice via headset randomly.
- moving headset from phone to phone sometimes brings them back to life (after a few minutes).
- rebooting phones makes no difference.

No issues with using the phones and standard handset calling. Phones are a mix of 44.80.0.60 to 44.80.0.80 firmware.

Any help please, as it is driving our staff crazy!
