UVC40 camera freezes when connecting

Hello,

We have a small meeting room equiped with a YeaLink UVC40 camera below an LCD screen. Users connect to the screen via HDMI and to the camera via USB. Both cables are routed to connections in the middle of the meeting room table.

This has worked like a charm for the past year, but now all of a sudden some users are reporting issues with the camera. When they start a Teams meeting and select the UVC40 camera (instead of their laptop camera), the "eye" of the camera opens, and shuts after about a second. The other party in the meeting sees an image with big black bars on top and below, as if you'd squint with your eyes. So the camera works briefly, but then freezes. Teams then reports that the camera no longer works.

When I check Computer Management, I can see the YeaLink UVC40 camera under "camera's", no error there. But under "other devices" there is an entry called "YeaLink UVC40 Firmware" which has an error icon. I've tried updating the drivers for both, removing both, updating the firmware of the laptop, all possible drivers of the laptop, but to no avail.

I've upgraded the firmware of the UVC40 from 128.423.0.45 to 128.423.0.60 but it made no difference.

Finally I installed YeaLink Room Connect on my laptop (which does not have the problem) and a laptop of a colleague (who has the problem), and tried to access the camera directly. If I try to look at the camera settings, the behaviour is exactly the same in this application as in Teams - the eye opens, closes, and the camera freezes.

Does anyone recognize this behaviour? And, more important, does anyone have a solution or any suggestions I could try next?

MTouchII HDMI connection appears to go to sleep

Hello,

We have two meeting rooms, equiped with a YeaLink system, where there is a MTouchII display. By connecting a laptop via HDMI to this display, users can share content in a meeting or via a beamer.

After a recent Windows update (both systems were updated to Windows 10 respectively 19042 and 19044) we noticed that after a while the displays no longer showed the content in the meeting or via the beamer if a user connects the cable.

As soon as you connect your laptop, the display shows "stop sharing", which indicates to me that the display knows that a device has been connected, but nothing happens. The only solution is to reboot the device, after which content is displayed immediately once the (minute-long) reboot process is finished.

I have the impression that the HDMI connection enters some sort of sleep mode after the device hasn't been used for a number of hours or days, from which it does not automatically wake. I've tried looking at the various settings, but cannot find anything that could be related. I've also had a dig through all the logging made by the MTouchII displays, but could not find anything useful.

How can I avoid this "sleep mode"?

Where can I find older versions of firmware? I have sone phones using 96.86.0.47 and it wont let me upgrade to a new version. I am guessing I need to step it up and not go all the way at once but I cant find any old firmware downloads. I'm sure its front of me I just cant find it.

Yealink T48S URL Line Key

I operate several Yealink T48S on my Fritzbox 7590 AX in addition to a Fritz!Fon C5, and a Doorline D2100E is used as a door intercom. My problem is that the Fritzbox is registered as a SIP subscriber on the door intercom and therefore the door opener can only be activated with the connected Fritz!Fon and not with the Yealink telephones.
The door opener can also be triggered via an http call, so I tried to put the corresponding URL (tested in the browser beforehand, of course) on a line key, unfortunately the door opener is not triggered. Is this not possible with the Yealink T48S, or do I have to activate a function for this in the phone's settings?

Hello,

I am new and enthusiastic user of Yealink W73P DECT phones.
I sum up my problem as follow:

Set-Up: W73B Base with 8x W73H Handset. Central number with extension -0 and all the handsets with extensions number starting from -10 up to -17. Incoming call goes to all extensions number. Each extensions number is set as individual account in W73B base station.

Problem: outgoing call shown from each handset shown as central number (-0) instead its own extension number.

Question: How can I solve this and where to look?

Our company has about a thousand T48U phones. I've begun upgrading their firmware to the last official one - v. 108.86.0.90 .
Since March this year, i've received 20 T48U phones with the 10.86.188.7 firmware. Which one is newer ? Would you recommend changing the 10.86.188.7 version with the last official one from your website - 108.86.0.90 ?

T57W Enhanced Monitored Extensions - BLF Status

We upgraded our Yealink T57W phones to use HTTPS for getting the config and at the same time updated the firmware to 96.86.0.144. Now the enhanced monitored extensions buttons have this BLF status on them. For example, you can see BLF Talking, or BLF Ringing.

Is this something that can be turned off?
