call history for transferred numbers

Hi,

The history log is not displaying the correct number for attended transfers. It logs correctly for blind transfers.

Example: I have ext 201 and 202. Ext 201 receives a call from 999999 and transfers the call to 202 (attended). Initially, while the caller (999999) is on hold the display on 202 shows 201 (which is correct). As soon as the transfer is completed, the display on 202 get changed to 999999 (which is correct). But when you look at the call history for 202 it will show a received call from 201 not 999999.

Is there any way we can configure the phone to display the transferred number in the call log?

I have tried this on T2x and T4x phones using the latest firmware. The phones are configured with PAI and i have also tried with RPID.

bug on 28.80.0.70 for EXP40

Hi,

I have a T46P connected to a EXP40. The BLF configured on EXP40 do not display the status (the led buttons are off) for the first 12 buttons only. This looks like an obvious bug.

This only happens using the latest firmware (28.80.0.70). With firmware version 28.73.0.50 everything seems to work correctly.

A really annoying feature is when you are searching through the directory, or another menu option, and the handset rings, the call is either answered or not, you are taken back to the start again.

It would be great if the handset could return to where you were before the call came in.

W52P - 1 of 3 handsets replies as busy, but is not

Hi,

I have an issue with a W52P with 3 handsets (FW: 25.73.0.40 + 26.73.0.11).
When I make a groupcall to the W52P so that 2 or all 3 accounts are ringing at the same time, in 60% of those calls the first SIP account of the base (102) replies with SIP response 486 "Busy here", although the account is not busy.

If I call each account separately it works fine all the time.
I switched the handsets (on different accounts), resetted the handset, made a factory reset on the W52P, but still the 1. account gives me busy very often.

W52P wrong SIP INFO implementation

Hi guys,

I'm testing your W52P with latest firmware and I've found an issue on SIP INFO implementation.

According to RFC 2327 (SDP) :

Text records such as the session name and information are bytes
strings which may contain any byte with the exceptions of 0x00 (Nul),
0x0a (ASCII newline) and 0x0d (ASCII carriage return). The sequence
CRLF (0x0d0a) is used to end a record, although parsers should be
tolerant and also accept records terminated with a single newline
character.

If I send a SIP INFO with a DTMF tone from W52P I have:

Signal=4\r\n
Duration=100

While should be

Signal=4\r\n
Duration=100\r\n

My PBX (based on Freeswitch) answer with Bad Request!

Is it possible to have a firmware that fix it?

I have 2 companies and I would like to be able to push a key to call that extension for that company.

I setup account 1(line1) and account 2(line2) but how do I get the DSS key to call the extension within the company line 2?

Is it possible to use the dialplan to send the digits out quickly if they are an extension number?

ie if the number begins with 9: wait for the full phone number
if the number begins with 2, 3 or 4: wait for 3 digits only then send straight out?

T48G (Lync) shows incorrect local contacts

Hello

Yealink T48G with Lync fw shows incorrect contacts.
I create Contact in my Outlook (e.g. Name="Test", Phone="1234567").
Then I view this contact in MS Lync Client. It shows as "Test", but on phone screen it shows as "1234567".
Contacts from Lync server shows correct.
Why?

T48 no audio

I just returned from a trip and my T48 desk phone has no audio at all. Activating speaker phone or simply picking up the handset will not even give you a dial tone. I tried to reset the phone to factory defaults and upgraded it to the latest firmware but the problem remains. Volume is at the highest level. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

T26P sometime keep ringing

Hi,

I have an annoying problem, because it is not always there.
I’m running 3CX v12.5, use a Call Queue with 10 agents all using Yealink T26P v6.73.0.40
Phone call comes in and is picked up.
Other phone keeps on ringing, referring to the same call as the one that was just picked-up. When the ringing phone is picked-up, there is no caller (as it has been picked-up already).
3CX log does not show any issue.

Is there some "phone setting" to solve this issue?

Hi,

Our system is setup that the carrier asks the hosted system every 15 minutes during the call, if the call is still active. the system then sends an invite to the phone and the phone replies. the system then confirms to the carrier and the call continues.

The problem was, that the phone didn't always reply to the systems request, and after three invites, the system advised the carrier that the call is not active. and the carrier dropped the call. and the phone still shows that the call is in progress. but it's actually been disconnected.

Good news is, that the issue resolved after upgrading to the new firmware: 37.72.0.10

How to add remote phonebook to dialing list via provisioning file

2 years ago, I started this thread about using the provisioning file on my 3CX server to have the T46G phones use the 3CX remote phonebook as a source in the dialing list.

My goal then and now.... to be able to view the 3cx phonebook on my T46G and dial by name, i.e. for Jason, I could type 5-2-7, corresponding to J-A-S, and it would display all phonebook entries that matched that.

We've had this working fine in the past. I just upgraded the server to 3CX v14 and need to rebuild my provisioning files, and this old thread doesn't seem to work.

Specifically, when I follow the Yealink directions in that thread and rename common.cfg as y000000000028.cfg and plop that cfg file in the provisioning directory, 3CX overwrites it and the super_search URL is lost.

Yealink, is there a better/newer/different method now? If so, where are directions? Is it better to have the phones periodically copy the remote phonebook to themselves, rather than using the remote phonebook as one source of several sources that are used for each lookup?

T48G - suppress connected call status to reveal DSS buttons

On T48Gs, I would like to know if there is a way that I can have the 3 center columns of DSS buttons automatically displayed once a call is connected. Presently the 3 center columns get replaced with a call status screen

I know I can press the Lower Right Corner DSS button to reveal this - just looking to make the flow easier.
