Cannot stop T58 Red LED Flashing

$

Hi,
I have 16 x T58's deployed in a home.
We have been trying to stop the red status light from flashing, aside from inbound calls.
However, after a period of time, all the handsets will start to flash red slowly.
I have removed any missed calls indicators from the PBX (Vodia)
It seems to be with the T58 handsets. All are on FW 58.85.0.5

I have the following in the cfg:
phone_setting.common_power_led_enable = 0
phone_setting.talk_and_dial_power_led_enable = 0
phone_setting.mail_power_led_flash_enable = 0
phone_setting.ring_power_led_flash_enable = 1
phone_setting.mute_power_led_flash_enable= 0
phone_setting.hold_and_held_power_led_flash_enable = 0
phone_setting.missed_call_power_led_flash.enable = 0

Is there any way to see what is causing this red light ?

Can the W60p system be remote controlled to make phone calls?

The help item here: http://support.yealink.com/faq/faqInfo?id=562 lists the W60P in the applicable product types at the bottom, but the Web UI does not seem to have the Remote Control page on the Features tab.

T58A Recovery

I have a T58A that stopped working with the Teams Client. It boots up, gets past the Welcome Initializing screen and then just shows the Yealink name and slowly fades and brightens.

Are the T58V bin and rfs files the right recovery files to use with this phone? Which ROM version? I've also got the license file for this phone's MAC address - dos that need to go on the USB drive as well?

I've tried multiple things, gotten a few Setup Failed (-1) messages, but also gotten it to seemingly do something, only to reboot and hang on the Welcome Initializing screen before needing to unplug it and plug it back it and then it does the original Yealink logo fading in and out...

Frustrating... and I am a techie.

Thanks all - stay well!

T53 w/FW 96.85.0.5

Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone was having issues with FW 96.85.0.5? Specifically it *appears* that when you configure a BLF/line key for PARK, the phone is actually dropping calls placed on park.

I have been able to confirm that rolling back to 95.84.0.30 *seems* to alleviate the issue, but not yet fully validated.

Vlan to no vlan

Hello all, I have hopefully a simple question. I have a client that would like to use the T46S on their office network using vlan 1xxx. Then if the employees needs to take the phone home to use, be able to plug it in to the employee's home inter net and have the phone work. is this possible?

Can the T46S model "see" a vlan and prioritize it over unsegmented networks? Then when the vlan its looking for is not available choose the regular internet connection?

Thank you for any substitutions on this topic.

caller ID source --> display permanently

Hello,

we configured the caller ID source on our cloud pbx to show on the yealink device when we have an incoming call. the original call has "text @ display": "belfor"

however the caller id source is only shown for 1 second and then it disappears and shows only the number of the caller.

we have multiple tel numbers routed to 1 phone. we would like to see the original caller id permanently, so people know what phone number was used. as it is now, it is shown in a blink of an eye, so not usefull.

is there a way this can be shown in a better way on the device?

as shown in pictures the "Belfor" is shown only for 1 second and then dissappears completely.
"RBZ Wouter Notebaert" is the callers phone number wich is permanently shown.

kind regards.

Openvpn applying openvpn.tar

Hi
I know this is not new and found lots of references in the forum but no solution.

We have a system that already has phones on vpn and working fine. So we built new openvpn.tar files based on that model.

When we upload via the web page is loads says "success" refreshes the screen and gone. Provisioned the VPN to be enabled but still can not upload the file. Found nothing in the logs to even show the attempts.

How do we get the config to load or log a failure?

TIA Sad:

Are there config parameters for the Directory Settings?

I've got a number of Yealink SIP-phones (T23G, T27G, T40P models) which are configred by the Autoprovisioning from my tftp server.

I made a LDAP configuration file (ldap.cfg) (all ldap.* parameters grouped there). This file is uploaded into phones when booting (by include:config <> statement in <MAC>.boot file). All work good.

But all this phones have disabled a LDAP directory search in the Directory/Settings page ('Directory' and 'Source Search List in Dialing' Enabled Group) by default. I can't found out any configuration parameters to enable 'LDAP' for the 'Directory/Settings/Enabled' settings by autoprovisioning process.

Can somebody help me with this?

New Ringtones

I have been using T28P, T46G & T48G for some years now and I must admit the ring tones are starting to get a bit old. Is it likely that Yealink may produce additional/new ringtones for their range of phones.
I am not complaining I love all Yealink products but the ringtones dont seem to change as models are upgraded.
I would like to attempt to create my own but I am not that technically minded.
Cheers
Brian

Forward call before answering

$

Hi everybody,

I have an T48S and am trying to transfer an incoming call before actually answering it, so that when I'm busy I can send the caller to our front desk instead of picking up or sending him to my mailbox via DND or mute.

When I press the forward softkey during an incoming call, I can select a VOIP target, but the call never gets transfered. Instead, the caller still hears a ring and ultimately gets send to my voicemail.

Is there even a way to transfer incoming calls before picking up?

Best regards
Oliver

One CFG file for one phone

i'm stuck with this kind of problem: i have to generate two files (mac.boot & mac.cfg) for every my phone.
Description:
There are a number on Yealink phones (and GS too) which configured by autoprovisioning process from tftp server. i have such structure in the tftp server:

/ (root)
- y000000000000.boot (for brand new phones, it loads the network.cfg for VLAN settings)
|
--- yealink (dir for Yealink configs)
|
+-- network.cfg (sets network.vlan.*, local_time.*, auto_provision.*)
+-- sip_acc1.cfg (turn on account1 and sets sip_server.1.address)
+-- features.cfg (sets intercom, language, user_password for wui)
+-- ldap.cfg (sets ldap config)
+-- T23G.cfg
+-- T27G.cfg
+-- T40P.cfg
+-- <MAC>.boot (includes all (network,sip,features,ldap) CFGs, one of T*.cfg files, and <MAC>.cfg
+-- <MAC>.cfg (sets dhcp_host_name, and auth info for the account.1)

This structure gives me a flexibility in the configuration of yealink phone pool, but I have to generate both <MAC>.boot and <MAC>.cfg files for every phone.

I tried to move parameters form the <MAC>.cfg file to a bottom of the <MAC>.boot, it's doesn't work. I tried to use the y000000000000.boot but i've got the same result. I think common parameters do not work in *.boot files.

In other side, I tried to make <MAC>.cfg file with a sequence of a loading needed *.cfg files, but AFAIK include:config doesn't work in *.cfg.

Is there a way to separate common configuration parameters and a particular authentication information in defferent files?

Sorry for my English. I hope I described the problem clearly.

I can't seem to find call history in W52P's web managemenet panel. On our T21P E2 phones I can access it by going to Directory -> Phone Call Info, but it's missing on W52P.

In the attachment is how it looks like in T21P E2.
