Account re-registration at W60B freezes

There are several bases W60B with phones W56H. Firmwares on phones and the base are the latest. When the telephone exchange is rebooted on some bases W60B, registration freezes. There are 8 registered W56H handsets on the base. They hang randomly. Only rebooting the base W60H helps. Every time in this case, you have to go to each base and check each phone registration. Are there any re-registration timeouts? A similar problem is observed on the phones T23G. There are phones from other companies, there is no such problem.

T55 Contacts

Hi,

We have been trying out a T55A for the past few weeks on Teams with PSTN calling. The phone works OK but we have a few questions

1. How can you add external phone numbers as contacts? So you can show names rather than numbers when PSTN calls come in?
2. how can you stop showing users that don't actually exist such as the Teams Autoattendant and queue accounts, meeting rooms etc
3. External (PSTN) numbers don't show when the call comes in, the only visibility is the queue or attendant that has routed the call. (the desktop Teams app shows both) Does the larger screen T56/T58 do this or not?

Modern Yealink Phonebook Generation Tool

I am trying to generate a remote phonebook for our Yealink phones and the .xls file does not work on a Mac, with Microsoft Excel.

Is there a modern version of this tool, built for something like Google Spreadsheets.

The documentation says that Windows is required to generate the XML and host it, is that really true?

How else can I generate a phonebook?

I am just jumping into how to mass deploy our T46S phones and this is one item we want to manage.

We have bought a yealink VC200 as it was suposed to support Microsoft Teams, but we can not find any information about how to connect Microsoft Teams to the VC200.

Any solution on this?

Issues with T58V + EHS40

Hello,

we do have issues with T58V phones in combination with DECT Headsets from Sennheiser (OfficePro1 and SDW series) using your EHS40 connector in a 3CX environment. All our phones do have the sidecar EXP50 attached.

After a few seconds of a call the microphone generates distortion sounds only.

We tested the latest 3CX firmware as well as the latest T58V firmware from your side with no success.

We are running out of ideas how to solve this. Any advice?

ehs36 and planetronic

i we have a T46G and a Planetronic voyager-legend-cs and followed the direction.
but we are having on way audio.

We thought it could be the firmware so we following to update both the phone and the device but still the same i can hear but cant hear the person from the headeset, i have tested on a mobile and it worked any ideas?

T58A Skype for Business problems

All of our T58A phones running Skype for Business are having an issue that started this month where it is pulling the calendar information onto the wrong day. So Friday events are showing on the Saturday calendar (and notifications are doing the same thing). The phone knows the correct current date, it just reads the calendar wrong.

We are also having an issue where voicemails / call history won't appear on the phone for some users until the phone is rebooted, and it will happen again a day or two later.

Finally, I've discussed with support already, but the echo issues when using speakerphone that were fixed in the November update for the Teams firmware (according to the release notes) is still happening on the Skype firmware.

Flashing status light - useless?

Is it me or are the flags for the notification LED useless?

I would expect using it for either Missed Calls or Voicemail would be useful but it seems that even text messages cause the LED to flash which is nonsense when users think that they have missed calls or voicemails but it is in fact just some other Teams notification.

Am I missing something here? How do people use/configure the notification LED - at this point I'm probably going to just disable it across the board for all phones.

Transfer calls from Yealink phones

It seems that the Teams client on the Yealink phones is missing one important feature that we use all the time on the desktop client.

You cannot use the dropdown on the Transfer option to route calls to alternate sources. For example we have a lot of calls that we transfer to people's voicemail vs extension to filter calls for sales people. The transfer option on the phone does not allow you to Transfer to a contact's voicemail like the Desktop client does in Teams.

Are there any plans to add what is probably quite an important omission or is this Teams dependent to the Android Teams Client?

T46s: date is 24 hours ahead (alerts/call log)

We have several T46s devices.

The issue is a 24 hours difference with meeting alert an call log.
We setup the devices with a ntp server and our time zone
The current date and time is shown on the device screen and is CORRECT.

1) Meeting alerts are all shown a day late. The alert from meetings on Monday are shown on Teusday, at the same time. When viewing the details on the T46s, the date is shown fro Tuesday. The meeting is scheduled in Outlook 2019 and Office365 on Monday.
2) Cal logs are all 24 hours agead. Calls made today are shown in the call log for tommorrow. Call made on the 26th of February are shwon in the call log on the 27th of February.

Info on the T46s:
Firmware Version 66.9.0.80
Hardware Version 66.0.0.128.0.0.0

Any ideas how to fix this?

Multicast Traffic Not Passing through PC Port

Phone type = Yealink TP-54W

We stream serval TV channels on our network via multicast. It works fine except when the PC is connected to the network via the phones PC Port, which unfortunatly is the majority of them (about 400). When connected through the PC Port the Multicast traffic does not play.

I've seen a few other threads on here but none fit my bill as far as a resolve.

When doing a pcap, I see no multicast traffic even showing up on the PC Port side.

I have tried with the 'Span to PC Port' enabled and disabled, neither work.

Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated!

VP59 Forward Programmable Key

Hello.

Is it normal that in VP59, you can not set a "value" for a "Forward" in "Programmable Key" ?

It works perfectly on T58A, but on VP59, the "value" entry is greyed.

CP960 Not Booting

While upgrading one of our CP960s to work with a zoom room the phone stops boot just after the initialization screen. Its the screen with just the outline of the phone with a spinning circle in the center.

I was thinking that I need to get into recovery mode and load a new firmware with a tftp server but I can't get it to boot into that option.

I'm dead in the water on this phone and could really use some help.
