Voicemail Notification Issue

Asterisk Version - 11.8
FreePBX Version - 2.11
Phone Type - Yealink T46G
Switches - CISCO SG500-52P

We are running into an issue where when a voicemail is left on one extension a new voicemail notification is pooping up on all the phones. None of the endpoints are set to monitor any other voicemail box than the extension programmed on them. You cannot access the voicemail from any other extension than the one it was left on originally and the notifications goes away when the message is deleted from the phone the voicemail was left on.

At first we thought it was Unicast Flooding issue but we have taken the appropriate steps on the CISCO switch to prevent this and it is still happening. I have also rebuilt extensions and reporvisioned phones both with Endpoint Manager and manually but the issue persists. I am not seeing any indication in the call log that notifications are being sent to any other extension when a voicemail is left. Any ideas?

T48G Call-Transfer Problem

When I use the speed-dial-softbutton to transfer a call, the holded call ist instantly recalling.
It is the same when I use an item from the directory.

The same procedure (to use the speed-dial-button) works on a Tiptel 3030 (OEM Yealink).

Can anybody help me?

Factory reset during boot up

We have a T46G that was working fine but when we moved the phone to another workstation it got stuck in "Please Wait... Initializing" for a few minutes and then just powered down.

Is there a way to restore to factory defaults so that we can repull the configuration from our carrier partner?

3CX + T48 automatic transfer?!

Hi,
New 3CX install (V12.5 SP2) using T48 phones (35.80.0.60).

Here's what is happening:
User receives a call (internal or external).
Talks to caller for a short period. Then presses a preprogrammed soft key that connects to a paging ring group.
Instead of the T48 connecting to the page ring group the incoming call is transferred to it.

This happens with the incoming call has been placed on hold or not.

Transfer button is NOT pressed and the transfer is not expected or wanted. If no calls are involved the pressing of the soft keys works as expected.

The soft keys that access the paging groups (there are 2 of them) are programmed as speed dials, Here's the code in the provisioning file:

IP Direct Call explanation

I'm considering the purcharse of several Yealink phones (T19/T21 families) in order to work on a LAN exclusively (no outside calling). As I understand it, the IP Direct Call function would allow me to call between phones with just an Ethernet connection between them.

Is this notion correct? Is there no other equipment needed besides the phones and the Ethernet connnection?

Around a year ago support told us here in the forums that the t4x series would support wifi in the future. Is this still going to happen and if so when? I just bought 5 grandstreams and they work great with wifi. I was hoping to stay with yealink though.

Can someone help me with this issue i am experiencing?
Problem:
• When trying to pair my 2nd handset it automatically rings the 1st handset

Ive already tried resetting the device to factory defaults and already had the whole unit replaced still doing same thing. I also tried to use a different network got same issue.

does VP530 support Call-Info and Alert-Info(RFC 3261)?

I Checked Alert-Info Operation, when i call to VP530 including Alert-Info Header, VP530 Download my wav file..but it doesn't play my wav file...does it need a specific format?

Hello

I've been testing the Action URL functionality and I find that it is quite functional, but for some reason I can't get the model to show correct.

When I submit it as $model I get $DEVNAME instead of "Yealink T48G"

I am using firmware version 35.73.0.50.

V80 Firmware Audio BUG

Hello,
I upgraded the firmware version V80.
Everything seemed to be ok, as far as configuration and records the trunk to the PBX or to PROVIDER, but I realized that I had only the audio input, the other could not hear my voice.

I have not found anything in the configuration that might be the problem, so I was forced to downgrade to version V73.0.50 and after the downgrade, the voice output has resumed operation.

Now everything works, but I'd hate not being able to update my phone, someone happened?

The problem happened on both the T46G and T42G.

DSS Line key not changing colors T46 when created with bulk extension creato

We are running freepbx with their paid endpoint manager with t46g, for some reason the phones I setup with the bulk extension creator wont change from green to red when that line is in use,the few extensions I did create manually work just fine. Has anyone seen this issue? I have crossed referenced all of the extensions and all of them are the same, the only difference what the ones that dont work were made with the bulk EX creator.

T28P - Power LED won't turn off

I have 4 T28P phones I recently purchased. I pushed them all to Firmware 2.73.0.50 and started to configure them.

I can't seem to get the power LED to go off no matter what I select in the Features -> Power LED section.
I want the Power light to be off by default and only show on an incoming call.

No matter what I do I cannot make the light go off. I have deselected all the power LED options and I still get the Green LED showing.

any thoughts ? All the phones are configured through the web interface and I have tried Factory Resetting the phones, but no change.

T22 error after XML Browser

We are trying to program some of our T22P phones to activate a network-enabled relay (unlock doors, etc.) using the programmable keys. We have programmed one of the programmable keys to use XML Browser to trigger this functionality. Our relay controllers allow changes via URL in a format like http://ip.address/state.xml?relay1State=1 - when we tried calling this URL directly, the desired controller state was successfully triggered but the phone then displayed a "File layout error!" requiring an extra keypress. So we created our own XML file on our web server. If we have the controller provide no response, the phone gives a "Loading - please wait" message for a few seconds followed by a "Loading error". If the controller does provide a response, it jumps right to the "Loading error" - still requiring a keypress.

The controller responds with simple XML like the following:

The XML file we created on the web server is as follows:

I've read the XML Browser Developer's Guide, but it hasn't shed much light on trying to call a URL.

Is there some way for the phone to ignore the response completely, or to process the response and not show an error?

Resetting SIP-T42G

Purchased 3 phones from a re-seller. Unable to factory reset SIP-T42G phones. Even after holding "OK" button for 10 sec, the "admin" password does not work. Info for the phones is:

Phone 1 - Front Desk
IP - 10.1.13.18
MAC - 00:15:65:74:2a:4c
Firmware - 29.71.193.7

Phone 2 - Room 1
IP - 10.1.13.17
MAC - 00:15:65:74:30:52
Firmware - 29.71.193.7

Phone 3 - Room 2
IP - 10.1.13.19
MAC - 00:15:65:74:2a:24
Firmware - 29.71.193.7

Any advice on how to reset the phones? Thank you.

T28 Reject call's

Hi,

My T28 Phone reject call, send a Busy Here to the PBX, but DND or Fordward call's is not enable.
Have a 2 Setting account from the same PBX.

I default reset 2 time the phone and the problem start again.

Now put other IP Phone and work.

Any ideas?

Turn Handset into Door Alert / Pager

Hi Guys!

Is there any setup to have a door sensor / transmitter installed at the business entrance, and when a customer enters trigger the w52p to vibrate and/or sound a unique ring to as a pager and notify an employee of a customer entering?

When we are in the back, it would be great to have the handset triggered by the door sensor as a paging device to call us up front.

T41P with YHS32 Headset Microphone Volume Issue

Hi All

I am using a few T41P Handsets with YHS32 Headsets and finding that the Microphone Volume is very low. The web interface appears to have no option for increasing the Mic Volume or Gain and I was hoping that someone may have a solution for this?

I am using Firmware Version 36.73.0.50 the handsets also.
