T46S Problems

In a previous thread http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=42557

I made mention of some issues we are having with the phone.. Some people suggested configuration changes which we did to no avail to stop the red light from flashing and it didn't work.

Now we are using 66.84.0.20 firmware and we are unable to select the Ring Tone either on the phone itself, using the web interface or through our Vodia PBX. You can select whatever ringtone you want, but it doesn't change on the phone

Before I open a ticket with Yealink (again) does anyone here have any thoughts?

Turn off warnings on screen in V84

There is a new feature in V84, that would display warnings on the screen in case e.g. an account wasn't registered successfully.

Is there a way to turn those off, both on the GUI, but also via configuration files?

Door Phone

hello,

i configured 2N pancode with camera,
and configured yealink T58V -> feature -> Door Phone with the required values.
i also configured the PBX to support Video

it's working but i don't have the video preview option
the incoming calls ring as normal voice call with no preview screen button.
after answering i can see the video from the 2N pancode and can send the required DTMF to open the door.

i want the option to preview the video before answer the call, and during the call to have the screen open door button,
according to the manual it's possible,

T48G + EHS36 +Janra engage 75 not hanging up call

hi there - i am using a t48g with EHS36 connecting to Jabra engage 75. all have the latest firmware.

the phone works to the point of trying to hangup the call. the hang up button on the jabra does not work. it makes a click sound however the call stays connected. all other functionality is fine.

if ending a call, i need to press the hang up button on hte actual phone to ensure disconnection.

any ideas.

T58A Teams Edition one way audio after 20 min

Currently running firmware
58.15.0.20

Yealink T58 Phone

Issue: When on a call for longer than 20 minutes one way audio occurs. It will happen exactly at the 20 minute mark. I can hear the caller the caller cannot hear me. We have re-produced this problem on another T58a phone also.

We have tried a Audiocode C450HD, MS Teams client and the issue does not happen at the 20 min mark.

Tried updating to the 58.15.0.26 firmware and still have the same issue.

SFB on T46G

Hello all,
I have a T46G with firmware version 28.81.188.7 and hardware version 28.2.0.128.0.0.0 I am aware there is a T46S meant for SFB. But reading through all documentation and forums I got confused. Is it possible to enable SFB on this T46G through a firmware-update? Or do I specifically need the T46S designed for SFB?

T41S admin login not working

Hello!

We just bought Yealink T41S and it self-updated to the newest firmware 66.84.0.15. Now we have:
1) can't use admin/admin, it saying "incorrect password". Already tried to reset to factory settings via ok key and using speaker button - no luck there.
2) it cannot see the network, saying "XSI information is incomplete"
3) phone does have ip-address(192.168.1.48) but we can't login through webinterface, already tried 3 browsers(IE, Opera, Chrome), cleared cache, restarting the phone, etc.

Have no idea what to try next.
Any help will be appreciated, thanks!!

Action URL Firmware Bug in 66.84.0.15

Hi,
this issue was tested with T41-S and T46-S.
Firmware Version: 66.84.0.15
We also did a reset on both test-phones.

The Action URL "Busy to Idle" / "action_url.busy_to_idle=" is not working for missed calls. The "Missed Call" Action URL is also not working.

"action_url.idle_to_busy" is working fine.

What we have set:
action_url.busy_to_idle = http://admin:pass@127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/Conf...key=DNDOff
action_url.idle_to_busy = http://admin:pass@127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/Conf...?key=DNDOn

How to write special characters to ADLDS?

I'm trying to write contacts into an ADLDS ldap for using them as a phone book for a Yealink T48G. Sometimes the name of the contact includes some special characters like "ö", "ß" and "é". If these characters are contained in the fields "givenName" or "displayName" neither the phone nor the ldap client can show them correctly and instead show some other chars (for example "ö" -> "ö"), however the "name" and "dn" fields show these characters correctly.

If I insert the contactvalues via ADSI-Edit or any other tool, the phone shows the name correctly, but my application is no longer able to read the inserted special chars from givenName and shows some questionmark-boxes, however the dn and name fields are read correctly.

I've already tried using utf-8, utf-16, utf-32, iso-8859-1 and windows-1252 as encoding for my application.

So the question is how can I store these special characters using C# in the givenName property for an inetOrgPerson in an ADLDS instance?

T21P: Failed to upload wave file

I want to use an original ringtone for T21P.
But I failed to upload.

I tried to upload a wave file on the following web screen.

Setting - Upload Ringtone

The file size is 1Mbyte, and I think it is not big.

Are there any restrictions, regarding wave file ?

Pickup Bug in 66.84.0.15

Hi,
tested with 41-S + T46-S with Firmware 66.84.0.15

Phone 1, EXT 10
Phone 2, EXT 11
Both Phones uses BLF to monitor the other EXT.

-> Inbound Call to EXT10
-> BLF-Led for EXT10 on EXT 11 is blinking
-> EXT11 is pressing the BLF Button
-> EXT11 is lifting the handset
= Pickup is working

-> Inbound Call to EXT10
-> BLF on EXT 11 is blinking
-> EXT11 lifts the handset and press the BLF Button
= The phone is calling EXT10 instead of pickup

Seems to be a bug?

Everything is working fine with T41P and 36.83.0.50

Hi folks,

in Firmware Version 66.84.0.15 there is a little typo in the German translation.

Code:
"New Missed Call(s)"="neue(r) verpasste(r) Anruf€"

has to be

Code:

Edit: The typo is also in Version 66.84.0.10. So please fix your Language template Wink

Updating Firmware on T42S

My current firmware version is 66.83.0.33 and I am trying to update to the latest firmware version I downloaded, which is 66.84.0.15. I put the phone's IP address into my browser and log into the phone. Then I go to the settings tab and then click "Upgrade" on the left. I browse to the .rom file I downloaded and then hit "Open". Then I hit the "Upload" button. It tells me that it will take 5 minutes to update the firmware. I hit "OK" and let it do it's thing. The phone says it is downloading and then installing. After 5-7 minutes, I check the phone's firmware and it is still 66.83.0.33. Any ideas?

T27G backlight keeps lighting up

Greetings.

We have a T27G with an extention module. The module has its DSS keys programmed to either BLF or quick dial. The issue is that backlight on both the phone and the module keeps lighting up each time the status of any BLF-related subcriber changes (that is, each time they start or stop a conversation).

Googling has led me to this thread here: http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1166 This is about a different phone model with the same problem. From what I can tell, it's a firmware issue that was supposed to be resolved with an update.

I've upgraded the firmware to the latest version I could (69.84.0.15) but it didn't help. Anything else I can do?

T42S phone not allowing to change default admin password?

I have yealink phone T42S with firmware version 66.9.0.45 and I’m trying to change default password of admin to my own password.
When I log into phone using web browser I go to Security tab and for User type I select admin and for old password I enter admin.
For new password I enter a new password and for confirm password I re-enter my new password. Then phone automatically boots.
I wait a few minutes and when I try to login it does not accept my new password and I can’t log in. I have to hold ok button to reset
phone to factory settings.

How do you change default password admin to our own password?

Android NTP make it stop

so many android NTP servers being queried by my CP960s.

I've configured my own NTP servers on the devices so I don't know why your underlying android feels the need to ignore that setting and do whatever it wants.

Please fix it. This feels like amateur hour.

There is the firmware 51.80.0.100 and a newer special "VCS" version 51.25.0.15.
