WF40 - no connection after reboot

Hello,

I recently received a WF40, plugged it into a T42s and configured it to connect to my network. The phone works but after a reboot it is unable to reconnect and I have to delete the connection and re-add it before it works again.

The network is WPA Enterprise with radius assigned VKAN and the phone is running firmware 66.84.0.10.

Any ideas on how I can get it to maintain a connection after a reboot?

Mobile Phone Account

At the newest version of the T48G 53.83.0.50 is the function Mobile Phone Account not working.
I can connect the phone but if I want to call the Mobile Phone will call but the RTP Stream will played on the Mobile Phone.

push device config to phone fails (Executed failed,Can't connect to server)

in-band provisioning enabled in skype4b 2015 on-prem.
just trying to use YDMP to centrally manage device config in a one to many publish scenario.
pushing test messages works fine, remote reboots are fine.
phones themselves work fine.

any chance to get a better idea of why config won't push to phones?

T23G Recovery Mode Upload Fail

Hello friends..
i have problems..

i have ;
  • T2X.rom
  • T2X.rfs
  • T2X.bin
i going recevory mode from T23G, i starting recovery update but tftp server error "TFTP: File too large"..
I have tried different programs;
  • OpenTFTPServer
  • tftpd32/64
  • PumpKIN
  • 3cDaemon
I always get the following warning:
File too Large
and t23 warning:
Update failed(-5)

please help me..

T41S Custom logo only displays temporarily

I have a fleet of T41S phones that I would love to deploy a screensaver style logo to (Company logo) on the phones. I was able to get the custom logo file generated and uploaded to the test phone, but the logo only displays for a couple seconds and it reverts back to the default screen.

What settings do I need to change so that the screensaver stays up until a call comes in or the phone is used? (or even so that the screensaver stays up longer than 3 seconds before it goes back to the main screen?)

Replace ear pad for YHS33?

Hey,

We have a number of YHS33 headsets where the ear pads are getting pretty disgusting. I've found that yealink.co.za sell them:

But I haven't been able to find anywhere outside South Africa that sells them.

What do others do?

Multiple provisioning servers

The auto-provisioning options do not seem to allow provisioning from multiple sources.
We are using 3cx and it is the default provisioning server.
Want to send a custom config file to all the phones with parameters that are not available for modification with the 3cx.

Hello!

Since the handset cord is the part which most commonly malfunctions, what should I search for, in order to buy some additional/replacement handset cords for Yealink T20P phones?

Is there some specific official part number to search for? Are there compatible third-party cords? Should any 4-wire RJ11 cable work?

T19P E2 auto provision firmware.

Hello, I have some phones T19P E2. With default firmware 53.80.14.2.
I want to update my phones with original firmware from yealink.com
I download firmware version: 19P_E2-53.81.0.110 and manually update my phones to this version. After I update with auto provision to version T19P_E2-53.83.0.35 with no problem. But after I try to update to firmware version T19P_E2-53.83.0.50 and get error. I want it's temporarily problem and after release T19P_E2-53.84.0.10 I try to update again and fail too. But if i try to update from 53.81.0.110 to 53.84.0.10 i don't have error. If I update manually from web interface - it's not error.
I try to understand problem and start syslog for update from 53.83.035 to 53.84.0.10.
Add syslog with manually update from 53.83.0.35 to 53.81.0.110 and automatically update with help autoprovision from 53.81.0.110 to 53.84.0.10. May be it's help to solve problem.

Some XML help required

Concerning a TP41P phone.

The PBX does not support provisioning or the forward status by the phone, so i've been setting up XML to dial DTMF to set a static forward.
I have this working as far as the dialing goes, but some other specifics are wanted by the customer.

So, the thought process here is:
- Turn on LED so we have an indicator
- Press Handfree key to dial
- dial number

The only thing working now, is that the number is dialed in the display.
The customer has to pick up the horn to make the forward complete.
After, the handfree is enabled, and the customer gets some beeps over the speaker that the forward has succeeded.
The Led does not turn on.

The PDF does not state i have to imply a color when using either the SMS or POWER LED, is this mistaken? Do i have to put a GREEN/ORANGE/RED like the line options have?
How can i make the Phone dial the number without the customer having the pickup? Should i put the handfree and dial in one statement?
Would: <ExecuteItem URI="Key:HANDFREE" "Dial:*21*phonenr*"/> work?

I cannot test these functions because i don't have a phone, so i have to do all this in a live environment Sad

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

DTMF for carrier pre-selection

I apologise for using the wrong terminology but not sure how exactly to search for this problem:
I bought a T21P E2, which I have connected to a fritz.box 5490 together with a few more DECT phones.
On the DECT phones if I call "*121#" this allows me do VOIP provider pre-selection on the fritz.box and receive the dial tone to then being able to enter the number going out through that provider.
I'm trying to use that in the IP phone (ultimately to associate with a DSS key), but can't get it working.
When I send "*121#", I get immediately "user busy" and it seems to me as if that particular code is sent straight-through to the VOIP provider, since if I send "*121#1234566" it works as expected calling 1234566 using the selected provider.
Does anyone know what settings would allow me to have the DSS key working to do this pre-selection, and receive the dial tone to enter phone number as a second step ?

T46S + EHS36 + Jabra 920 = Long delay

Hi folks,

we are using a combination of T46S, EHS36 and Jabra 920. Everything is working ok, but there is a long delay (3-5 seconds) to end a call by pressing the designated switch on the Jabra 920. We almost set the call control mode fix to DHSG but that didn't changed anything. With an old Alcatel telephone the same headset is running very well.

So do you have any ideas to get rid of this annoying delay?

Disable SSL / TLS

Hello all.
We have T48S, CP860 & CP960's. Is there a way to disable SSL 2.0 & 3.0 on these phones? Can it be done through provisioning?

Any insight would be helpful. See attached network security scan results to one of our phones.

Caller ID Transffering

Good Morning,

i have a Yealink t52s

when i recived an inbound call i need to transfer that call but i need ti show caller ID of the originating caller not mine but

my yea link firmware is

Firmware Version 70.84.0.10
Hardware Version 74.0.0.0.0.0.0

i am testing on elastix 4.0 and asterisk 11.25.3

i have the trustrpid = yes
and sendrpid = i tried both send p=asserted and send remote party ID

and set up pai-prid-from on the yealink

but still no luck

any help much appreciated

I have seen both firmware.url or static.firmware.url used in auto provisioning templates.

Is there a way to know which variable is to be used?

Does this vary by phone or firmware version?
