OpenVPN not working on T46S 66.83.0.35

After upgrading firmware from T46S 66.82.0.58 to T46S 66.83.0.35, OpenVPN seems to broken

Hide clock on CP960

Why does the config to hide the clock not work with the CP960?
I want a custom logo, but the logo has the time over it.
AND the time is on the top bar also, so it's there twice!

On T5x phones you can hide the clock, but the 960 seems to not allow this.

This is the setting for the T54 phones I have.
phone_setting.idle_clock_display.enable="0"

Yealink, please help.

Phone only ringing after reboot- quickly stops working

I am having an unusual problem this past week.
We have an W52P with 2 handsets. The phone will always make outgoing calls but it often does not ring for incoming calls. I know the SIP provider/ DID number works because our DID forwards to a cell phone as well as the W52P and the cell phone always rings.
I haven't changed any setting on the W52P unless a firmware update has happened?

If I reboot the W52P the handsets will ring when I test it but after some time they stop receiving calls.

Here are the settings I'm using, any ideas why they would stop picking-up incoming calls?

Confused as to which to use - running .10 on W52P and .30 on W52H's.

Having to unplug power (sometimes multiple times to get it to come back) on regular basis - did a factory reset and reconfigure about a month ago but still a problem.

Tried to export configuration but get a zero byte file.

Wonder if Base for W52P&W56P-25.81.0.30 addresses some of this??

Incoming Call Lookup

Hi,

We use the auto config files [mac address].cfg to configure our phones. However there is one option in the web config that is disabled by default I a can't find the line needed in the auto config file to enable it. The option is in Directory, Remote Phone Book, Incoming/Outgoing Call Lookup. I have also attached a screenshot of this setting.

Please could you tell me what I need to add into the autoconfig file to enable this feature.

Problem: LDAP search in v83 does not work as in v81

Good day,
Last week I upgraded firmware from 81.0.110 to 83.0.35 on SIP-T23/42/46 phones and faced the problem with LDAP search which has been working for past 4 years with v73 and v81.

Below are name and number filters used in LDAP search config:
ldap.name_filter = (|(givenName=%)(sn=%))
ldap.number_filter = (|(ipPhone=%)(Mobile=%))

with v73 and v81 search results never returned persons who have empty ipPhone AD attribute, which is correct logic.

after upgrading to v83 search results started to return all persons, even if they have empty ipPhone AD attribute, but showing NONE next to name.

T46S with two accounts

I have a customer with several phones and one of them has two accounts registered on it. That phone keeps switching its default account to account 2 and has to be put back constantly. Wondering what is needed in the config to hold account 1 as the default.

Deployed YDMP 2.0.0.20 on centos 7 using minimal install.

Here are problems/bugs/issues so far.

1. cannot remove devices from Device Management -> Device List section.
2. Device Configuration -> Group Configuration does not apply when sending the group configurations to the phone.
3. Device Configuration -> Group Configuration does not apply when the phone is set to default and uses RPS to point to the YDMP for auto provisioning.
4. Device Configuration -> Model Configuration Model -> Select model device; model will NOT show a model that has currently been deleted. Example if I make a template with t43s and then delete it and want to use the t43s model again, it will not show up in the list.
5. Device Configuration -> Model Configuration -> Set Parameters -> Settings -> Time&Date -> Location; cannot find US Pacific Time. If set to Pacific Time, it will change to another Location and not stay. When I export the configuration or look at the phone, it will show as NONE. This messes up problem #6. See next.
6. same area as above except Time Zone. WHen set to -8 says Canada Vancouver. I need US location and time zone. America/Los_Angeles for example.
7. rport value, DSS keys, etc all have to be manually set in Edit Parameters in TEXT. When the phone is set to default and RPS gives autoprovision to YDMP, these options do not apply.

That's it for now. YDMP is not near stable or accurate enough to use in production. I have only added 20 phones to it and it does not work as intended. I will keep watch on updates and release notes.

Overwritting Non-Static Values

Hej,

i've i problem where settings made in the WebUI are not properly overwritten by the Auto Provisioning:

those are my setting in the boot file

overwrite_mode=1
specific_model.excluded_mode=0
auto_provision.custom.protect=0
auto_provision.custom.sync=0

e.g. setting the screensaver wait time will not update once it
was set once in the web ui.

screensaver.wait_time=120

When i put that change in a plain cfg file and upload through the web ui the value is updated.

The same problem seems to affect setting a custom wallpaper, whereas this setting seems to have never worked out of the provisioning, not even when its set the first time.

do you have any hints how the phone needs to be configured so that provisioning values do always overwrite anything set on the phone.

Can't recover T48G via TFTP

One of our T48G devices currently can't connect to any account and when we compared the web interface with a working phone there were different fields showing. Despite those two phones having the same firmware version it seems as there is something wrong with the upgrade procedure.
Since downgrading (flashing lower firmware version through web interface) and autoprovision doesn't work anymore - as well as countless factory resets, we figured that there was a faulty update/reset down the line.

Because of this I just tried to recover the phone as described in the yealink guide with TFTP. The connection was established, but the phone keeps reporting the the TFTP client that T48G.rom ist too large. Since it's the phone that's reporting this I can't think of any way to fix this on my side. The recovery isn't possible with Jounis TFTP client or the one from 3com. All get the same answer.

Do you have any suggestion or is this phone officially "fried"?

CP960 PC connection with PC via BLUETOOTH problem

Hello!
There is a problem with the device CP960, on Windows 10 LTSB 1607
last firmware, CP960-73.80.0.35.rom

when connecting via Bluetooth from PC (all modes are enabled) in Skype, Skype for Business, Cisco Webex, etc, the CP960 Speakerphone is constantly off, while the headphones of the CPU 960 are sluggish to work - but the sound in them is very poor.
Speakerphone included, it is by default in the playback device as a default communications device and as a default device

on the USB to connect the device is not possible - too far (in the amount of about 10m) PC + hard to drag the USB cable

+ at this device, the USB connector is disconnected without the possibility to fix the cable - the connector will be torn out with the guts in a month ... (did not make it)

Do not know what to do .. The device on the first sight is very steep
but the problem with the connection on Bluetooth is messing up ..

BToE is an excellent solution - but it works only with C4B models of CP960

Hello.

with the following parameters we try to disable the forwarding for busy and no answer on a T56A, the setting has no effect.

forward.always.enable=1
forward.busy.enable=0
forward.no_answer.enable=0

Only the parameter

features.fwd.allow=0

works but all redirections will be switched off.

How to switch off the redirection for busy and no_answer on a Yealink T56A via Auto Provisioning ?

Two phones with identical settings (T48G and T48S)- only one connects to SIP server

Hey guys, another issue, but this time I can provide more information.

Maybe you've read my old thread about the (probably) bricked phone by faulty firmware update. Since I had to replace it rather quickly I ordered a new phone, this time the T48S.

I upgraded to the latest firmware, then I took a working T48G and copied all settings and imported the generated .cfg.

But then: Register failed.
After a a quick chat with the provider of our sip it emerged that the phone seems to have an issue. I double checked all settings, in the end it still wouldn't register.
Edit: Confirmed- it's no problem for multiple phones to connect to one account!

Then I fired up pcap and wireshark and noticed something interesting.

The working phone establishes a solid TCP and later TLSv1.2 session with the registration server and starts transfering application data just fine.
The non working phone tries the same but seems to send the server a "reset connection" flag for whatever reason. (I am just good with computers, but not a network professional Sad )

I will enclose the faulty pcap. The phone is IP 192.168.178.29 and the reg. server 217.0.30.196

I would be incredibly happy if we could solve this mistery.

Problem with repeater RT20U with W60B

We use 8 w56p phones with a W60B base.
It is necessary to increase the range, for this we purchased the repeater rt20u.
The device rt20u does not work stable.

After synchronizing rt20u with base w56p - on rt20u we have the following indication:
Power on - GREEN
DECT - GREEN
Repeater-off
Sometimes Repeater became GREEN - but after a while it became OFF again.

What could be the problem?

Change disolay name

Hi,

in our company we use Yealink T41P phones and the phone software Placetel. This automatically sets up the connection to the phones once the Mac address is given. In particular, it sets the VoIP-name as the display name. However, when I change the VoIP-name, the display name does not change. But for other reasons, actually, the display name should be different from the VoIP-name.

So my question is just if it is possible to change the display name of the phones.

Just to be clear what I mean: The display has (in the middle) a clock, underneath it the date, and underneath it the display name of the user.
