Simultaneous calls on an RT20

Hi all,

I receive conflicting information about the number of simultaneous calls on an RT20.

Some say that the RT20 can handle 2 simultaneous calls per handset, other say 2 simultaneous calls per RT20.

So when I have 4 W56H connected to a W52P(with RT20), can they all use the RT20 repeater at the same time?

Hi,

Could someone please tell me how to get to the online web login page for Skype for Business on my T48G?

I've updated to the latest firmware, but I only get a prompt to login to a hot desk account.

Also - should I be able to use any USB web dongle, or does it need to be the WF40?

CP960 Stuck in 'Reset to Factory' loop

Hi, we have recently purchased a CP960. When we first turn it on, all appears correct, but within 2 minutes the Mute buttons begin flashing for approx 30 seconds and then the screen displays the 'Reset to Factory' message. We can press the cancel button and it goes away, but comes back within 2 minutes again.
I have updated the firmware to the latest available (CP960-73.80.0.35.rom) with no change in behavior.
We are also using the recommend POE injector (YLPOE30) so i don't believe it is a power issue.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a fix? or should i just warranty the device?

T56A Microsoft Teams Edition Firmware

Hi,

We purchased a SIP-T56A Teams Edition handset but the firmware that came with it does not have Teams on it.

Can I please get a link to download the Microsoft Teams edition firmware for the T56A? Currently, only the non-Teams version is available.

Having problems with Auto-Provision since some time.

Since a couple of weeks, our provision does never work anymore. Not with an "Out of box"-phone. Not with phones in the field.

Normally this works with DHCP. So when the phone gets an IP, it will use the .cfg-file.

Now it returns a Decrypt Fail after getting a respons from the provision-server. But out .cfg-files are not encrypted, so this doesn't make sense.

Yealink Firebird Database phonebook

Hello, we have a Firebird database with all the phone numbers and names of our customers. Is there any possibility of integrating this data into the phone just as LDAP so we see who is calling? I reallly appreciate any help on this topic.

T56A does not boot

Hi!

I installed a couple of T56As last week and today one of them does not boot. The only thing one sees is that the LED on top is flashing roughly every 10 seconds. Cabling etc, seems to be OK.

Does someone have any idea what the problem could be?

T46S Multicast from FreePBX

Greetings ~

We're actually implementing T46S, T40G and one form of T19 to replace our expensive as all-get-out Cisco system. Yealink works wonderfully as a phone and we like the multicast ability for various levels of campus-wide or focused alerts.

What we'd like to do, rather than use the Yealink multicast to broadcast, is use FreePBX - dial a number from select phones around the campus (which is controlled by FreePBX) and send a broadcast.

I'll include details on our setup below. But our issue: When we dial the FreePBX configured extension, the page goes out... including the phone we're calling from. We wanted all phones to play the broadcast, regardless of what's going on. DND and being currently on a call should not block these broadcasts. But being the one that called the extension to make an emergency announcement should.

One solution would be to make certain phones not participate in the multicast, but we'd like the call to go to every available (as in, on) phone in the case of an emergency.

* The T46S (which will be the bulk of our phones) use FW 66.83.0.10.
* Broadcast 224.0.36.X:XXXXX
* PBXact 14.0.2.14
** Paging and Intercom 13.0.26.5
* Asterisk 13.19.1

I believe when we looked at Paging Pro, their was a limit to how many phones one could page to at a time.

Any ideas? The key things are to be able to broadcast to all phones or just certain buildings and have some control over which phones we can broadcast from. Multicast makes sense, but we need the broadcaster to be able to talk, and not have their phone just listening to the multicast. =)

Virtual Extensions

On my old Analog phone system I could set up "Virtual Extension". I use these to allow me to send a called to that ext., i.e. 123. Then they hear a recorded message, along the lines of "Sales Calls are ONLY accepted on Tuesday", etc.

I set up a virtual extension and but a "bulletin" recording with the ext., but I can't seem to transfer any callers to the ext. Using Yealink T48G

Hi there,

I've a customer using 3CX with alot of Yealink phones.

all T41P phones are beeping every 10 minutes, if they've voicemails and its like a disco show in the office now.

How do is turn this off, using parameters?

CPW90 Mics Bulge

hi

i have had the CP960 conference phone running fine but on 3 batches i have had issues with the wireless mics. I think my supplier has a bad batch.

can someone confirm its normal for CPW90 wireless mics to have bulge in the middle where the grill is? I fear the battery has swollen causing the bulge.

I would expect top to be 100% level and flat. Please let me know if this is by design or i have bad mics.

Transferring a call with multiple incoming calls

I have a receptionist with a T48G.

When she is on a call that needs to be transferred and another call starts ringing at the same time she goes to do a blind transfer of the active call but what ends up happening is the incoming call gets transferred instead of the active call.

They also have some grandstream phones this does not happen with.

Is there a yealink setting to prevent this?

Setting phone to default to No Account by default when Off Hook

I have a customer who is using T21 phones (although I assume this question could apply to any device) and has 2 accounts configured on the device. By default, when he picks up the handset to make an outbound call, the phone gives him a dial tone for line 1. We know how to change this to default to line 2 by using the right and left arrow keys. However, he'd like to be able to set the default to neither account or line. When he picks up the handset, he'd like to have no dial tone until he selects one of the two line buttons.

I've gone through the forums and can't find anything. I've also scoured the web interface and have found nothing. But it might just be labeled something that I'm not recognizing.

Has anyone ever tried to accomplish this? And if so, how?

It would be nice to be able to create a button tree. Make button like sales and it opens a list of extensions or buttons that would show more buttons of extensions that are in the sales group.

T49G and Jabra Evolve 75 incompatibility

Hi!

Is there a known incompatibility between a T49G and Jabra's Evolve 75 bluetooth headset?

I can pair the T49G with the older Evolve 65 model, or the Evolve with a T56A, but not with a T49G.
