Suddenly hang up with T21P

Hi!! I have severals T21P soft v. 34.72.0.75 and Hard v. 34.1.0.0.0.0.0 with this problem.
In the course of call hang up ramdomly.
The PBX is Asterisk in the suite Elastix 2.6
I think is the IP phone because I had changed another with eartphone muted

T48G not re-registering with server automatically

I am using a T48G running the latest firmware (35.80.0.70) but when changing the "Server Expires" value to something smaller than 3600 (default) it doesn't make any difference. The phone re-registers after 3600 seconds based on my SIP providers expiration time, not the shorter value I specifed on the T48G.

I have the Bria softphone app on my iPhone which I sometimes use in-place of the T48G. When exiting this app, it results in the SIP number being unavailable. I want to make my T48G re-register after 180 seconds so calls can start going to the phone shortly after exiting the Bria app. However, due to the "Server Expires" value not working - I have to wait anywhere up to 3600 seconds for my provider to renew expiration unless I manually restart the phone.

My SIP provider definitely allows 180 second re-register values (this has been tested using Bria), just doesn't seem to work on the T48G.

Is this a bug? I have been experimenting for a few hours, but can't seem to get it working.

Call Park Soft Key

I am trying to enable the call park softkey with no luck. I have tried on a t41P and t46G with no luck. Can someone please help me with what I am missing? When I am on a call the call park softkey should appear.

W52P humming when repeater connection

Hello com - greetings from Germany.

We are using a W52P with DECT repeater RT10. When the phone is directly logged on to the base station everything is fine. But when it connects via the repeater there is an annoying humming in the line.

I hope, this is not "normal" behaviour and I can suppress this humming.

Does anyone have an idea?

DECT Multicell support

Hi,

it would be really great to have a professional Multicell base station, something like:
  • up to 10 phones concurrently logged in one base station
  • all in all 50 or 100 handsets supported, all registred at all the basestation at the same time with handover between base stations
  • may 3 simultaneous calls per base station
  • central management of the handsets (if possible via the pbx)
  • it would be great if the old handsets still worked

The last point is a tricky one. I am no technical expert and not sure what the best way implementing this is, but as an admin, I want to provision the handset for one extension once, and than it should be available at all the base stations.

One solution maybe to register all the users at each base station, but this would not be easy to manage with the pbx.
One other way maybe to have a central base stations, which manages things and sends the configuration to the other base stations. So you only have to register the SIP-users at one base station and than they are available at all the others, too.

T26P OpenVPN QoS issues

I have several T48G phones and T22P phones using OpenVPN to connect back to a host Asterisk server. The ones I'm having issues with are all in the same location and all T26P phones. We've done everything to make sure that their internet is fast and clean but they are still experiencing times where the phone slows down to the extent that a single key press may take two seconds to be acknowledged on the phone. During these times, a phone call to two phones will result in one phone at a time ringing. When the call is answered, the phone not answered will continue to ring until it is rebooted. I have pulled logs and looked at the errors. There are a lot of 'BLF sub fail' messages even when the phones are not being slow. There are also a lot of "Dot't match notify event message-summary with subscribe" .

When they are slow, there are lines like:

Nov 23 16:44:42 SIP [484]: SDL <3+error > [000] cannot answer this closed transaction
Nov 23 16:44:42 SIP [484]: SDL <3+error > [000] ERROR: Could not create response for INVITE

As well as:

I've tried defaulting and resending the programming and replacing the phones.

wall mounting

I see many of the phones support wall mounting. Is this a standard wall mounting pattern that uses the Analog type wall plates?

I am in need of several of these types of phones for a new warehouse. Boxes are on the wall already - I just need to terminate. I am hoping to not have to mount phones to the concrete.

BLF Key stripping hyphen

Hi all -

I've got a multi-tenant phone system that I host. This software keeps different customers separate by prepending an account code and hyphen to the front of every extension number. For example, extension 2001 for the company "Bob's Burgers" would be something like bob-2001.

My problem is that BLF keys on my T42G and T48G phones (and likely others), when pressed, automatically strip the hyphen from "bob-2001" when the call is sent. This causes my software to not know what extension was dialed.

I tried playing around with the dial plan, but a-z aren't really supported in it.

Anybody got any ideas? I've looked through the documentation to figure out a workaround, but I haven't had any luck yet.

T46 Phone SLOW/HANG issues

In the last 3 weeks I've had our Reception phones, All T46G's with 2 EXP40's, Become Very Slow. Calling out takes over 10 seconds, calls coming in takes a long time to ring, and update the screen. I have logged onto the web interface while this is happening, and it was very slow, and Account 1 was listed as disabled.
They are all on the latest firmware, and they have the issue Simultaneously.

Rebooting the phone fixes the issue.

This only started happening after I upgraded the firmware. Before that I'd never had a phone hang.

We have T22's and T28's which have never given an issue.
Any chance this is Autoprovision Related?? That would explain the phones having issues at the same time??

T48G - Skype for Business Online

I am trying to configure a T48G with 35.7.0.50 (Lync Firmware) to connect to Skype for Business Online (Cloud Hosted - Office 365). I keep getting the message - "The version of the client is not accepted by the server". Office 365 support is no help and clueless about a solution. Maybe you have some ideas. Thanks.

anyway to write the local config file via provisioning

Hi,

is there anyway to access the local provisioning files via autoprovisioning?

some sort of bug added
"lang.gui = English"
into the local config file why we upgraded our T46G to V73 and autoprovisioned. The users had a German GUI and now they have an English one but there is no text anywhere saying this in the Provisioning Templates. The info somehow magical appeared in the local cfg file.

Now wanted to log into each of those (web interface with 200 phones), but the parameter isn't even availble, only the wui language can be changed. We haven't the sync of the local files setup and would love to be able to change it soon, without having to export, edit end reimport the file manually for 200 phones.

Import of local config files hat no effect

Hi,

I have experienced the following behaviours with several T46G V28.73.0.48 models:
  • I export a local config file (CFG File, I chose Local in the dropdown) via the phones web interfacce
  • I edit the file
  • I import the file (same filename as before)
  • I ok the prompt that the phone should import the new file
  • the phone is busy and rebooting
  • none of the changes I made take effect (I reexport the local config file and it hasn't changed

To me it looks like the import feature is not working for CFG files I haven't checked the other option yet.

Any ideas? Anybody successfully used this feature?

Local directory and number with international code

In my local dictionary all my telephone numbers have the international code in front of it. For example the german code +49.
One entry is for example: John Rambo +4917401020304
If John calls me, I can only see the number which is shown without the international code: 017401020304 and not the name. Only if I remove all the international codes in the dictionary the name is shown, too. Normaly every other telephone and mobile phone shows the name independent of with or without the international code. Is that not possible with Yealink phones? I use T48G and W52P.

BLF setting

I would like to clarify the BLF setting:
a) The DSSkey with type as BLF and value as #300000 (which is an announcement source)
b) Features /Transfer mode via DSSkey as "New Call"

Are the following understanding correct?
a) When the phone is in conversation with one party, when the DSSkey is pressed, the call will be transferred to #300000
b) When the phone is idle and the DSS key button is pressed, the call will be dialed to #300000

So when I type "Andr" I want it to show "Andrea", "Andreas", ... and not "XYZAndrXYZ" ...

Hello,

Got a Button With "History - Local Call Log" configured ... this shows received calls/missed calls/outbound calls ... Is it somehow possible to configure a Button to just show MISSED CALLS?
As they are the most important ones ... ?

DHCP Time

I would like my T23G to obtain the current time from its DHCP server.
I can set DHCP time to enabled ,but the time on the phone will still be dependent on what I set in the timezone field. This can be inconvenient when using remote extensions as I have to worry about what timezones they will be in.

How do I obtain time zone from local DHCP?

Lost t46g admin password

Hello,

I lost the admin password to my T46G and have tried holding the OK button to trigger a factory reset, but it won't proceed without an admin password.

The phone is running 28.73.193.45 firmware.

Any advice?
