T58A Teams Edition and EXP50

I have a shiny new Teams Edition T58A, upgraded to the latest firmware (58.15.0.45). I also have a new EXP50.

When I reboot the T58A, the EXP50 hangs on "Welcome, Loading....". If I reconnect the USB, it'll boot and load in about 3 secs.

The phone status (Web UI) shows that it is connected, and displays the hardware and firmware revs:
Firmware Version 1.0.1.5
Hardware Version 75.1.0.0.0.0.9.0

However, that is where the magic ends. I have no way of configuring the EXP50. Long press on a button doesn't do anything, and there are no options in the WebUI (or on the phone UI) for configuring the EXP50.

Is the EXP50 not compatible with the Teams Edition of the T58A? Or do I need to try and upload some config file to the T58A with the DSS options?

How can I configure the EXP50 on the T58A Teams Edition?

T21P E2: Missed calls: How to show caller's number?

Hi,

on my T21P E2, the missed calls list shows my own number (callee), I can only see the caller's number after going into the call's details (press the OK button). Is there a way to configure the missed calls list so that the caller's number is shown directly?

T56A USB port compatibility and BT/Wifi

Does the T56A in SFB and TEAMS have WiFI and Bluetooth built-in? According to data sheet they require you to add the BT41 for Bluetooth, and the WF50 for Wifi.

The regular T56A open SIP version datasheet states both of these features are built-in and does not require the USB peripherals. Does the Microsoft software stop these internal features from working and forces you to purchase the peripherals?

CP930 Randomly mutes

We have a customer we just put in 1- CP960 and 4- CP930's connected to 3CX version 16. One of the 930's is randomly muting anywhere from 20-30 minutes into the call; all mute lights turn red. I verified it has the latest firmware and rebooted the phone. Has anybody else experienced this?

T42S do not display icon in YealinkIPPhoneStatus line

Hello,

I registered a 66.84.0.15-enabled T42S to an Asterisk instance. This instance is configured to send SIP NOTIFY messages.

When receiving the bellow message, the T42S status displays text correctly but icon is missing (see page 56 in v83 XML Browser Developper Guide).
I tried with Message, Forward and DND icons.

Best practices to notify unconditional call forwarding with Asterisk

Hello,

When a user configures Unconditional Call Forwarding, (s)he wouldn't receive call anymore until (s)he cancels this Unconditional Call Forwarding.

In an Asterisk environment, what are your current best practices to persistently remind the user of the ongoing forwarding ?

1. Do you rely on phone-side forwarding ? These seems to display a persistent icon on the screen top line.
2. Do you rely on server-side forwarding ?
3. Suggestions ?

I wanted to enquire is there a wireless Yealink Deskphone ? Samsung PABX Division was developing something along these lines with native integration into a proprietary Access Point, meaning a large office could run fully wireless.

With Hosted Phone System deployments we do, being able to install a handful of AP's and connect to wireless Deskphones would reduce costs and speed up installs massively.

Is this available, in development or under consideration ?

Hello,

I'm discovering Enhanced DSS Keys and it looks promising.

I would like to implement something like this:
- interact with user through a custom prompt asking for a value
- then dialout a prefix with whatever the user replied in previous custom prompt

Simply settings something $P5N4$ does allow me to dialout whatever was prevously entered but I can prepend user reply with a fixed prefix.

In other words, if user enters 1234, 1234 is dialed out.
What I would prefer, is that if user enters 1234, then *991234 would be dialed out.

T48S SFB + EXP40

Just purchased an EXP-40 for to use on our T48S SFB. We purchased this for our receptionist to see who is on the phone, be able to park calls, transfer, etc... However I cannot find anyway to program DSS keys in the current SFB firmware. Firmware on the phone is up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If none of this can be done on the SFB firmware, then we will need to return the module.

Impossible to upload a csv to Phonebook

Hi

i've been trying for days now and reading the internet so i can upload my Contacts from my macbook to my Yealink T48S. Noway that it works. i've tried converting to CSV , uploading , different forms of CSV ... not one worked .

The Phone tool doesn't work on Excel on Mac. It says it's not compatible.

Is there anyone who can help me or give me a hint how i can get my Mac Contacts to the Yealink. ?

Hello, I'm looking for a list of all compatible cordless headsets, which firmware has to be in the EHS36 and the T4XY and which features have to be expected.

From this one could then answer the question which wireless headset is the best.

The current reason is that we already used the Jabra WHB003 on the predecessor ISDN phone. Since the conversion with the EHS36 adapter, the headset is now gradually failing. This can also be a coincidence, because they are a bit older.

T41S - Failed to verify the server, skip the verification or not?

Hi,
I am currently trying to setup some Yealink T41S phones using BToE which has worked in the past however on this particular install it's coming up with a prompt on the phone which says "Failed to verify the server, skip the verification or not?".

If I press ok it tries the sign in again for a couple of seconds and comes up with the same message. This never times out and will persistently do the same thing along with popping up with the login box on desktop like authentication is failing however the credentials are definitely correct.

Having looked through the logs from the phone I can see it go through the SRV discovery process, select the access edge correctly and attempt a connection with it at which point it notes "Failed to verify remote common name" followed by a "TLS close socket" so I assume this is related to the message popping up on the phone and is the point at which the process to login stops.

I've checked and common name validation is disabled and I have also tried uploading the certificates to the phone.

The end code for registration is "Lync register fail code:29001".

I just wanted to check if anyone had an ideas. I can provide the log if required but would prefer to keep that out of the public domain due to IP's and URL's being present.

Blind transfer not working on hangup bug

On my T52S phones running 84.0.10, I've noticed a bug where if I hang up the handset at a specific time to complete a blind transfer, the phone instead behaves like it's in an attended transfer. This causes another major issue which I'll get to after explaining the first one.

Here are some relevant config changes present on my phones:
Semi-attended transfer is disabled
Time Out for Dial Now Rule is set to 1

Reproducing the bug:
1. Answer a call taking the handset off hook
2. Press "Transfer" button and enter extension you want to transfer to
3. Hang up the phone after the Dial Now Rule timeout but before the transfer-to extension starts ringing

What you would expect to happen here is to have the call blind transfer. Instead, what happens is the phone goes into some kind of invalid attended transfer state where if you hang up the Yealink phone, the extension you transferred to will continue to ring. Once that call gets picked up or goes to voicemail, you will hear the audio play on the Yealink phone even though it is on the home screen and no longer in a call.

If you do the transfer and hang up before the Dial Now Rule timeout finishes or after the transfer-to extension starts ringing, the call blind transfers correctly.

I modified the common config file y000000000052.cfg to enable the function on all the phones in the company.
When the phone restarts it authenticates itself correctly but does not take ENABLE on the SRemoteName entry
can you help me????

Missed Calls not shown on T48G

Hi

i made some changes to my T48G.

I had an account directly to my SIP provider and everything was pretty much working fine.

I did for another reason now change the SIP provider pointing towards my Fritz box. Everything seems to work as it should except the missed calls are not shown anymore.

The phone is ringing and when i don't pickup, nothing happens . No message or notification whatsoever.

Any clue how to solve this ?
