SIP Notify Answer event on T4 range

$

The SIP Notify Answer event does not work on Yealink T4 phones running Firmware v80 or v81. It does work on Firmware v71.

Steps to reproduce (on a phone running v81 firmware):

1) Register a T4 (e.g. T41P) to an Asterisk system. I used FreePBX 13.14.0 with chan_pjsip.

2) Configure the SIP Notify as follows:

/etc/asterisk/sip_notify_custom.conf

[yealink-answer]
Event=>answer=true

3) Restart Asterisk

4) Place a call to the endpoint

5) Send a SIP notify to Asterisk:

pjsip send notify yealink-answer endpoint 1011

6) The phone will not do anything although it does send a 200 OK response to the Asterisk system.

I downgraded the firmware to v80. I had the same problem.

I downgraded the firmware to v71. The SIP Notify Answer event worked as expected.

I have tested this on a T41 and a T46.

Has this function been deprecated or changed or is this a bug ?

Please let me know if you require any further information.

T23G and T29G slow and unresponsive

Good morning.

We are facing problems with:

Yealink T23G 44.80.167.3
Yealink T29G 46.80.167.2

They become very slow and unresponsive every few days and randomly. It's not at the same time in all devices.
When it happens there is voice delay and the operations like dialling are very slow.

It seems the same problem described in these topics.

http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthrea...e=threaded
http://forum.yealink.com/forum/showthrea...light=slow

We are trying to get pcap traces and syslog when it happens, but we want to know if we could fix this problem in a new firmware release like has happened in mentioned topics.

Thanks and regards.

Yealink T23G openvpn pfsense freepbx one way audio

I'm going to first describe my setup. I have internal IP phones where phones and freepbx are on the same LAN. This setup works fine.

I also have remote users who wants to use the T23G. We have existing working OpenVPN/pfSense setup. So I add the VOIP network into OpenVPN and exported with OpenVPN client export. There is a specific export for T28 and I used that and imported the tar file into the T23.

On to the T23G phone. I brought the T23G home. Turn it on and on first glance, everything looks good. VPN icon is on and the number is registered. I tried calling the office numbers. It rings and someone in the office picked up. I can hear the other party but the other party cannot hear me. Then after 30 seconds the call is dropped.

I am puzzled. OpenVPN connection is established as verified on the phone and pfSense webui. Number is registered and verified in the phone webui. There is a log entry in freepbx.

[2017-08-03 09:55:20] NOTICE[1715] chan_sip.c: Disconnecting call 'SIP/814-00000053' for lack of RTP activity in 31 seconds

This let me to consider if the T23G somehow cannot send UDP packets to freepbx. However this is conflicting as the SIP connection is also on UDP and seems to work fine.

Any tips for a quick fix from experienced users?

T46G Cache

Hi All,
I have an issue with my T46G Phones :-

Scenario

Bob is on extension 3000 and when I dial 3000 it displays Bob 3000 and I can either press ok or press the down arrow to select him and then press ok

now Bob leaves the company,John takes his extension, now when I dial 3000 it now displays John 3000 but underneath it says Bob 3000

I have found the only way to clear this is to factory reset and auto provision the phones which isnt ideal or practical on 70+ phones with high staff coming and going, they are all on FW 28.81.0.70

I assume its a cache issue, anyway to clear the cache remotely or an auto provision setting I can set ?

Cheers
Nick

Hello,
If the phone can't connect to the VPN it would be great to allow the phone to then still be able to connect to the SIP servers. Right now if it happens even if the IPs are route able the phones won't connect

Hi,

As a re-seller we have a number of licensing pending approval for phones already installed and ready to go live on Monday. Our Wholesaler said that approvals come through pretty quickly, however the request went in yesterday morning and we have still not had any reply. We are getting concerned they will not be active for Monday. Please advise if there is another way to do this as we will activating a few 100 phones on and off over the next 6 months or so (usually on weekends)

Michael.

Hi! I have a phone Yealink SIP T21P.
1. How can I download a ringtone over 100kb in size? For example 200kb, 400kb, etc. Is it possible to delete the system ringtones ring1.vav and ring2.vav in order to load ringtone of a larger size?
How to do it?

2. There is a function of "call wighting" in Yealink. while second incoming call, the caller hears only the standard dial tone and does not understand that the call recipient, is already busy. How to make, that a caller could hear a ringtone: "Hello, this call recipient is busy here", etc.? How can I change the default tone?
Tnx!

LDAP phonebook search for number types

Hi,

I'm operating a larger LDAP directory. Some people have a set of numbers for mobile phones, office, lab numbers, etc. Unfortunately, there is no way to see the number type behind the number.

Is there a chance to separately search for the LDAP number attributes internally in order to be able to distinguish between the number types?

Example:

LDAP number attributes: "IPphone mobile Telephone"

Phone display - now:

Telephone: Number1
Telephone: Number2
Telephone: Number3

Phone display - wish:

IPphone: Number1
mobile: Number2
Telephone: Number3

The next step would be to self-define values for displaying the number type:

LDAP number attributes: "IPphone mobile Telephone"
LDAP number attributes replacement strings: "Office Mobile LabX"

Phone display shows:

Office: Number1
Mobile: Number2
LabX: Number3

T58V app deployment

Can anyone provide an example of how the y000000000000.boot and app.cfg need to be configured in order to deploy an application? I have confirmed that the GET is fetching both files, but they are not grabbing the APK from the phone system. I can download the file from a PC so it should be accessible. I was just not sure if i had made the config files properly.

T46G not forwarding

Hey,

we recently set up an environment of a bintec elmeg beIP+ and several Yealink T46G.
We tried to configure Forwarding via the menu on the phone and web interface. But none of it seem to work. Everytime we called, the phone rang, with forward active or inactive.
Forwarding via Code number in the beIP+ works fine, but doesnt provide any visible feedback on the phone.
Strangely, the phone in our company works fine concerning forwards and I can't find any differences in configuration (except account ofc), firmware, etc.

Can anyone help? Do you need more details?

Thanks in advance,
Nils

This seems to happen too a lot of our CSR reps, they are in a call group for the outside lines and even though they are not on the phones it shows them talking on the DSSKeys.

If I reboot my phone it goes away but will come back as they send and receive calls.

Any suggestion for resolution?

Incoming call number recognition from Remote Phone Book

$

Hello,

Our company recently switched to VOIP with SIP-T48G as the IP phones. I did the setup and configuration of all the SIP T48G's myself and there working great. But I have small differences on some of these phones concerning the incoming call display and contact recognition.

all are SIP-T48G
all on firmware 35.81.0.110
all have same hardware number
all have the same configurations (except the accounts off course)
all have the same Remote Phone Book and they are all updated
Remote Phone Book number format is with the + and no spaces between numbers
all have been restarted after configuration

This is happening:
Some IP Phones display incoming calls with the + like +32xxxxxxxx and some with the 00 like 0032xxxxxxxx for a call from the same caller.
Again our Remote Phone Book number format is with the + and no spaces between numbers.

These are the 2 problems:
Contact names are not found in the RPBook on the T48G that display the incoming calls like 0032xxxxxxxx? Despite that they both have the same RPBook setup in the Directory>Settings>Search Source List In Dialling. When I change the RPBook format to dubbel zero 00 instead of the + the problem reverts to the other IP phones.
Also if I use blank spaces in the phone numbers format (+32123 45 67 89) the contact name is also not found in the RPBook

I've checked all the settings on 2 phones and was unable to detect a difference in setup or settings. hopefully there is an easy solution and this long explanation wasn't even necessary.

Thx
