I would like to use the auto_provision.custom.protect and auto_provision.custom.sync options in my *.80.* T42G handsets.
I auto provision these T42G's over http (using a 3CX PBX) but I don't understand how the handset can upload over http(s) without having a web page on the provisioning server in order to capture and save the file on the server... Simply doing a PUT to a url that is a folder won't allow the file to be saved...
So how is this meant to work? I can understand if this were TFTP and we allow direct write access to the server/folder.... But does anyone have this working over http/https?
Surely there is some level of security with the upload process, otherwise anyone could write to anyone else's config..
Thanks, TJ
