We have a number of customers who use "park" lines on their phones. They do not use the asterisk park feature, but instead want to have several park lines appear on all their phones, so they can just press the "park 1" button and the call jumps to being on hold on that line.
That all works great, and the call can be picked up on any phone by pressing that park line.
The one problem is that if another call needs to be parked and you do not notice that park 1 is red because another caller is already parked there, you end up conferencing caller 2 with caller 1 and they are no longer showing on the park line at all.
To say that again a different way:
You have "blf transfer type" set to blind transfer
You have a BLF for a park extension appearing on your phone.
Call 1 comes in. You answer, then press the BLF to put that caller on hold on the park extension
Call 2 comes in. You answer and press the same BLF. The two callers are now talking to each other.
Request: A setting to "allow transfer to busy BLF" with enable/disable. So for these customers we would set it disabled. It should just give a beep and leave you still connected to the caller.
